Aerosmith being dumped for Hannah Montana?!?!

I regret to annouce a rumor i keep hearing from some RnRC cast members and managers from DHS alike. Apparently, when Aerosmiths contract is up with Disney, Rock 'n' Rollercoaster will be re-themed and re-opened as a Hannah Montana rollercoaster. Personally, if Disney does this I will refuse to ever be a guest here again!! I simply hope this isnt true!!

While I could easily see Disney doing this..... I think not. Really think not! I can't tell you how many "Confirmed by my managers" stories turn out to be just that.... stories.

I seem to recall this rumor popping up several months ago.

Expect the entire resort to be consumed by Jonas Bros, Hannah Montana, Princesses, Pirates, Pixies, Pooh, and Pixar by 2010.

hmmmm, after a very good laugh with one of my CM friends from florida he said aerosmith has a 50 year contract, soo lets see how relevent hanna montana is when shes 65

Yeah me too. Honestly it just doesn't make sense in the biggest way. The age group the roller coaster is geared towards is a completely different age group than what Hannah Montana is geared towards, and when you factor in heights, the core Hannah fanbase won't even be able to ride. As dumb as management is, I'm sure they know this as well and know better than to pull it off.

Baseless rumor. I'm writing it off as that.

well im glad to hear its a 50 year contract, but you know disney - they could easily commit a breach of contract and it would be no big deal ....didnt disney recently purchase the supreme court??


i really do hope this is a rumor, but it seems i keep hearing this more and more lately and that bothers me....alot!

The contract may be for 50 years, but Disney probably has the power to end whenever they want. A deal this long keeps Disney from having to constantly renegotiate and be asked for more money. Without an out, Disney would be required to keep the attraction as is even if something happened to seriously call the Aerosmith-Disney relationship into question.

I wouldn't be upset to see Aerosmith go . . . But Hannah Montana would be a deal breaker for me.

I'm all in favor of RnRC getting a new theme and soundtrack, but let's make this one enjoyable by a broader spectrum of guests than either Aerosmith or Hannah Montana can offer.

However, I'm sure it's nothing but a rumor, since Hannah Montana just doesn't fit the bill for an extreme rollercoaster like the RnRC.
