Ya know what would be cool but impossible so i'm not counting on it? With all the characters walking around, I'd want a General Grievous character, Ohhhh that'd be cool, but his size and build would make it impossible, like i said.
I'm thinking about going to WDW for my first SW weekend... does anyone have any advice on which weekend to go? I just started researching right now.. the info is a little overwhelming. Are there any weekends that are better that others (like maybe something big on the first or last)? I know I'm kind of late, but I just decided, what the heck I might as well go this year!
Oh, crud I can't go the first weekend... I already have tix to see SW3ROTS here in Los Angeles at the Arclight on May 21!
Concerning shopping for Star Wars Weekend items... The line this morning at Tatooine Traders (by Star Tours) was about 2 hrs long. I waited for 45 minutes at about 6pm to get some of the limited edition items, and was able to get some pins. The only thing they ran out of (but may get later again) was the Darth Vader Mickey beanie plush!! I was devastated I could not get one. They are so CUTE!!! I also got to see that kid who played the young Bobba Fett in Episode 2. Cute kid he is, even with tis huge pimple on his cheek.
I found "Revenge of the Sith" to be completely satisfying. One of the hallmarks of all of the 6 "Star Wars" films has been hokey dialogue, although some of the early scenes with Padme and Anakin were really laughable.
But the film picked up steam, got very interesting, and by the end my eyes were even a bit wet. I felt that for the first time in this new series of films that it was worthy of the moniker "Star Wars".
I wish I could afford to take a day trip up there for Star Wars weekends this year. Hopefully next year I can finally make it to one. But this year would be so perfect since Episode III just came out. WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
I would be having myself a fun 'ole time with the SW characters. I need to dig out this hilarious pic of me & Chewbacca back when they had SW characters outside Star Tours every day back in the early 90's (my pic is from 1993).
