Why is that disgusting? I happen to like bitter soda.

You know, why does this have to be done just at Ice Station Cool? Why not bring one of those huge bottles down and use them at the mug refilling station at the hotel? I would feel bad for the employee who had to talk someone out of that.
It's a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah...Tip for Today!
I actually did see one CM doing just that, as some UK guest was filling his thermus. The CM told him he could not do so and only to use the small cups provided for sampling. I applauded that since most CMs now a days seem to have a problem laying down the law with such guest behavior.
I applaud that cast member....definitely a problem...but I think it would just be strange to see someone at the beverage island filling up that huge Coke bottle...something to treasure forever.

I tried it tonight, Coke and Fanta Orange compared to a $7.99(!!!) can of Mezzo Mix I bought from some obscure place an hour from my house called "World Grocery." It was pretty damn close but a little more syrupy than Mezzo.
Ugh... and I like running my tongue along a belt-sander.Originally Posted by TDLFAN
Hindsight, I agree with you. Althought I did it back then and I still think it was flippin' funny, I could have caused a lot more trouble than I did. The parks/Coke also pay for you to try their stuff in small, moderated sizes and PAY for their full size drinks. My only disagreement about that though is nowhere are those drinks provided for purchase. But if what I'm hearing is true, that will change in Club Lamename. They've already got my money!Originally Posted by TDLFAN

I've been told you can actually run them over with you car and they will still hold water (although not shape). They are pretty darn indestructible.
erick13 thanks for the links, I'll probably have to pick it up from there.
Taggart, was the place you bought it from called "World Grocery" or "World Market"? I've got a World Market near me but never thought of checking it for pop.
Always good to learn something - thanks. I was really hoping that someone would ask me what a henway is, tho . . .

It's World Grocery. It's a privately owned store that specializes in mostly European goods... Just like Europeans... they think they are the world...(j/k)Originally Posted by Schda
I have actually checked World Market though and they have a nice supply of 6 ounce bottles of Beverly. For all of you masochists out there, World Market is in almost every major city.
But yeah, day two went well with "homemade Mezzo Mix" I mixed half Coke/half Fanta Orange and a wee bit of club soda. It came out almost perfect.
I know it's strictly a coke thing, but I wish the new Club would have Orangina or Palingrina(sp). I know you can get them here, but it would be cool to have them in a fountain instead of paying an arm and a leg for 8 ounces.
