80 Stitch SuperSonic Celebration Photos and Full Video

I am not sure I can add much more to what others have said about Stitch - I think it is funny in a few parts, but isn't something that I'd go out of my way for (or stop for if I was there). I am also getting really weary of the whole Celebrate theme.

I have about 80 photos as well as links to 25 minutes of video here:

MouseSteps - Park/Resort Updates

And some photos larger:

Couldn't they get a smaller person in a stitch costume? He just looks huge and more scary!

That's what's bothered me ever since SGE went in, you see a "normal size" stitch in SGE and the meet and greet with a BIG stitch, and this one looks even BIGGER!

Wow. I couldn't watch more than 1.25 of those videos. It was excruciatingly painful!!

Why'd they have to butcher an awesome song from "Meet the Robinsons" and put it in a show about Stitch? They should have taken the opportunity to add something Robinsons to Tomorrowland instead of Stitch again.

Oh yeah, thanks for the photos and videos, Denise! Even though the show was awful, your coverage was awesome as always.

Thanks Tim - and I haven't ever seen "Meet the Robinsons", which song is it?

I am not a fan of the show - but the Stitch part is cute. I did have to watch it 4 times to get photos and video!

Re: 80 Stitch SuperSonic Celebration Photos and Full Video

The actual "talk to stitch" had lots of dead air trying to get guests to answer. Underscore music from the film may help that out. At least I have a better idea of what "Stitch LIVE/Encounter" has different from Turtle Talk.

I really can't say much good about the "live" action part of the show. I love the Meet the Robinsons song, but yeah sometimes this show ruins it.

The song is called "The Future has Arrived" and it's sung by the All-American Rejects at the end of the movie and during the credits. I believe there is also a version of it (at least instrumental) during the movie. I'll have to watch it again to check. It's a really good movie - you should give it a rent!

With any luck, a hurricane will take away this monstrosity before we visit in December.

Re: 80 Stitch SuperSonic Celebration Photos and Full Video

I am surprised at the amount of money that was spent on the stage. This makes me wonder if they have plans for other shows in the future or if stitch is long term.

The stage is new right? It wasn't a converted structure or was it? It has been a while since I was there and I am having a tough time picturing it.
