Re: The Rain, Rain, Rain, came Down, Down, Down: 5/14-5/28. (Photo heavy)

Those were some of the best WDW photos I've ever seen.

And I learned something, too, from this and Fishbulb's trip report: the key to seeing the lions on Kilimanjaro Safari is to go during inclement weather.

Excellent photo's, for me they bring out a certain magic, in that the place still looks amazing even in hammering rain.

Wow, simply stunning pics! Hate getting caught in the rain, but man, it sure makes for some great photos.

Okay, I was at Animal Kingdom then, second day of my trip, my Dad and I having to go through a few hoops at Guest Relations to get me a replacement ticket when mine got eaten by the Kilimanjaro Safari Fastpass machine. After that got straightened out, we went over to Epcot again to do more Future World, then the Studios.

Next two days I was basically being dropped off at Downtown Disney to fend for myself and use the bus system due to a conference my Dad was going to down in Florida that gave us the Disney trip opportunity in the first place. First time being on my own in the parks and had a good time.

Great pics! Disney should promote more rainy photos so people (LIKE ME!) don't get the wrong idea about the weather when they visit. l=[

Those are amazing shots. That rain looks insane! I was there in April and we had one day of rain with the downpour happening in the morning. That was the day we had planned to visit Epcot and so our opinion of the park wasn't that great. Then we went back on our extra day to wonderful, sunny weather and loved the place. Maybe because it was Spring Break they had all kinds of shows and plays going on in many of the nations areas and we had a blast.

Great pictures ... Been too long since my last trip to WDW. Though I can usually count on a couple of rain days when I there.

I agree with you on Figment! In his original incarnation, he was impish and inquisitive but not a snotty know it all. Maybe he'll change in the next incarnation!

As for the photos, they are so good that I want to go to WDW NOW!
