Nice....can't wait to hear their review. I am really looking forward to the updated HOP. Politics aside, it will be really special to see how Disney recognizes the historical significance of the past election and ties it into the show.
Tomorrow I think is the AP preview, so hopefully we'll hear soon...
I would love it if Obamatronic and Washingtronic get into a fist fight on stage. That would be fun and a whole lot mure enjoyable that a boring History of the USA 101 class.
Hopefully though, the updated HOP will have a fresher and more engaging feel to it than the former.
Obama played for the first few selected guests today. I did not see the show nor care to, but some of you might be interested.
Here is what my sources had to say...
"We went to the preview of Hall of Presidents today. Disney did a fantastic job. Obama is great as is the new movie."
Go there and enjoy it. And please... hold your applause until the presentation has ended, to keep the dignity of the show and that of those clowns up on the stage, intact.
HOP did open to day for some previews.
There was a cast preview this morning, followed by an AP preview, followed by an hour or so of soft preview for anyone. I went and saw, it was very nice.
Allears posted a review of the show and building
Hall of Presidents Reopens (The ?World? According to Jack)
AttractionsMagazine.com also wrote a review and (against Disney's request for no recording of the show, it seems) got video of the segment of the show that features President Obama. He recites the oath of office and speaks briefly about the American Dream:

The only negative I have seen so far, and it's not even a negative, is that Battle Hymn of the Republic is not used as the finale, and America the Beautiful is used instead.
I am getting more and more excited about this the more I read about it.
Today were cast member previews as well as DVC and annual passholder previews, but they weren't filling shows so they opened it up to the public. I have never been a fan of Hall of Presidents, but I have to say the retooled show is much more entertaining. I think for starters, Morgan Freeman is a better announcer and the digital projection was nice because the old film flaws were annoying to me. The tweaks made to Lincoln and the new Obama AA are wonderful.
Like others, the only complaint that I had wasn't that the music at the end was changed, but that the end note doesn't have the "chill factor" that you used to get there or that can be found at The American Adventure.
