Re: What can Disney World do different???

Good comments guys. But I didn't just mean what should they add as far as attractions, but also what can they do to improve the overall guest experience? I think that they do well enough overall, but, as it was so politically correct put to me once, there is room for improvement.

I am going to get lynched for this but, I like Dinoland. If anyone has ever been along Route 66 or I-40 through Arizona, New Mexico or Texas the road is littered with these roadside tourist traps and, oddly enough, that is Dinosaur country. I feel that it adds a little bit of reality to the area to have it themed like a roadside stop off of 66.
He felt like his life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.

While I agree that all the parks need major expansion, I appreciate the focus on tourists. AP-heavy Disneyland was nowhere near as fun to visit as the old days, when there was one AP level and it cost a lot of money.

Unfortunately, saying that here, especially in the DLR forum, is opening a can of drama because whenever I say "I wish there was less APs" a lot of people think I'm talking about them specifically. Most people who hang out at MiceChat would buy an AP even if it were priced as a luxury item, because they love the park that much. I'm complaining about the Angelenos who go there instead of a museum or public park or mall.

I agree with you completely. Everyone is so hard on Dinoland and I think the reason is because it looks cheap and like Disney just threw something together at the last minute. However, I read somewhere that the Chester & Hester area of Dinoland took a lot of planning and that it was very challenging to find a substance that looked like asphalt, but wouldn't get unbearably hot in the Florida sun. I'm not saying that Primeval Whirl or Triceratops Spin are great attractions, nor do I spend a lot of time in that part of the park, but there is something about it that I find charming.
