Smile Whats your fav buffet in Epcot??

Hey everybody! I would like to know what your favorite buffet place in Epcot is. I've only been there once and we ate at the Biergarten buffet, it was okay, but I'd like to know some of your favorites now!

Only one I've done is Crystal Palace and I liked it. I've been there 3 or 4 times.

Re: Whats your fav buffet in Epcot??

Out of the three buffets at Epcot (Biergarten, Akershus, and Garden Grille), I have eaten at Biergarten and Garden Grille. I personally like Biergarten the best. I grew up on German food and the food they serve is excellent. The show is interactive and fun and very German. Garden Grille is nice because you get to see into the ride Living With the Land as you eat and rotate. The characters are nice and the food is good.

I am eating at Akershus at the end of the month when some of my friends are visiting. I have never been there before, but have read mixed reviews. Some say the food is not good, but I think they just aren't used to Norwegian cuisine. The decor and the princesses are supposedly a lot of fun though.

Garden Grill isn't really a "buffet". Food is served "family style" to the tables (like at Liberty Tree at MK).

Biergarten has the advantage of fun entertainment. Really enjoyed it there, even though the food isn't exactly my cup of tea.

Out of the choices I have to go with Biergarten, the food was good however, nothing fantastic but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the entertainment.

Not only is Garden Grill not a real buffet, neither is Akershus. You get one entree, and a few "cold" items are on a bar for you to enjoy bufffet style.

Biergarten is the only true buffet at Epcot. I highly reccomend it for the atmosphere if nothing else. (I happen to really enjoy the food.)

I prefer walking to the Beach Club for the Cape May buffet for dinner. Love it, and I don't even like clams!

I prefer the bad tourist fashion buffet. Just grab any bench or curb at any WDW park, sit back and enjoy the horrible show. It's worth the price of admission.

Crystal Palace is in the Magic Kingdom, not EPCOT. It is still quite nice except for the way too many children. It was so much nicer when the Crystal Palace was a nice victorian restaurant. That was back before the character buffet was born and back before Disney decided to make every sit down restauarant in the Magic Kingdom a character buffet.

As far as EPCOT goes, my favorite is the Biergarten. Akershaus used to be BEFORE they ruined it by making it a Princess character buffet. I used to enjoy the true scandinavian smorgasboard that it was, Now it's just the same old food that any character buffet has.

Agreed. I miss the cafeteria style Crystal Palace.

I thought there were more buffets in Epcot. I'll have to research some more. Biergarten had some pretty good food but my mom and sisters didn't like it to much when we went.

I liked the Norway breakfast. Of course, it's hard to go wrong at breakfast. LIke mentioned...they just have a cold bar...and then family style at the tables. But, it's very good. I was shocked when that was a dining request from my husband. I figured that would be last on his list of things to relive. With all those princesses. He loved the food though. So, we'll be going back on this trip.
