Animal Kingdom Fastpass

Has anyone been to Animal Kingdom since they've started the centralized fastpass location and get your thoughts on it. Is it more convenient? Are the lines any longer than they were at the fastpass machines at the actual attractions?

Also, is this now the only place you can get fastpasses for those attractions or can you still get them at the actual attraction? Thanks in advance!

I don't think I really noticed much difference at all. To be fair, ALL the lines seemed shorter than the last time I went in 2006.

I liked it. They only have 3 attractions available at the location (CTX, EE, KS) I also didn't notice it effecting anything.

The only complaint I have is that it didn't tell you when you were return time would be before you got the FP, nor did you know the wait times at the attractions. However, if they fix those few complaints, I would really like it.

Here's my take, I just left WDW today and during a few "hopping" visits to AK the lines for fastpasses at this new location seemed shorter than the actual attraction fastpass locations. Now this may not be the same for everyone, I could have come at the right times but the lines were always shorter than those at the attraction.

Sorry, but I don't like the idea of having the fastpass machines next to each other like that. It could make lines longer and fastpasses easier/quicker to get
