The unbuilt disney mountain

I was reading a book inside of "world of disney" and i came across the unbuilt mountain.

Named candy mountain.

Has anyone heard of this and if so do you have any artwork for it and concepts?

Candy Mountain was a concept for the Storybookland area of Disneyland, not Walt Disney World. You can find a piece of concept art, with description, in Jason Surrell's book The Disney Mountains, which came out a year or two ago.

ok sorry, i wasnt sure because i read it in a book in florida. I kinda assumed it was for wdw.

^^ No prob. Here is the concept art from Alain Littaye's Disneyandmore blog. Casey Jr was supposed to be running through and around this mountain. Walt abandoned this project because he thought candy on such a large scale might turn off people...rather than attract them, which small quantities of candy tended to do.

Also the Canal Boats would flow through the base of the mountain and would float past scenes from the Wizard of Oz (not the one with Judy Garland, Disney made one based on one of the sequels).
