TTA. Open!!! NO major changes to Space!

So, I'm going to WDW on October 4th and I've been monitoring the WDW website for refurb postings, as well as the allears one. This could be wishful thinking or a site glitch but the WDW website has TAKEN DOWN the SM refurb posting on the calendar!!! It was there last week!

ETA: It's back up now, wishful thinking I guess. It will be so sad without it!

If they fixed the track so it doesn't feel like it will collapse, then I think that is ok by me.

Of course, I would love to see some changes too, which is why regular maintenance should be done, so they can plus, instead of closing for a year just to repair...but I digress.

So, I'm thinking track fixings or LED lighting.

And TTA itself has changes, courtesy of the new lighting scheme. More on this later this week in my update (unless Al splits it into two weeks' worth of updates)

Kevin, don't you think it's sad that the only thing we have to look forward to on the PeopleMovers is new lighting and "spit-polished" turntable? In regards to enclosing the Space Mountain queue (which was very necesary)..let's face it.. since Fastpass, they hardly used that area, so exactly how many guests got to see the "universe" and chocolate chip cookies flying above? The fact that there is less to see on the peoplemover is a missed opportunity for making this simple ride better. Maybe they should have built a diagonal ceiling over that area, so even the peoplemover would be enclosed, affording a view of the queue as always, but shielding it away from the ride track portion above.
