My fave nighttime spectacular isn't at a WDW theme park, my young friend.

How could you not include Spectro?

Because I can only include 10 options (hence the "Other" option).

I wish I could vote, but I have not seen Hollow-wishes.. It sounds great though. I am sure that it is the best show Disney has put on so far... But I always believe that we can do better!

Not including Spectro is fine with me... It's outdated and low tech as opposed to Dreamlights, and even Fantillusion.

Mine isn't at WDW either, but I have to admit that I have always enjoyed the special holiday finales to some WDW shows, such as the perimeter pyro at some MK fireworks, and the finales to Epcot's 4th of July and New years eve fireworks. They rock WDW twice a year.

I love how IllumiNations tells the story of the planet from creation on to the commonality of humanity through our diversity.

Never fails to stir me up and bring a tear to my eye.

Stop and listen to the song "Promise" which plays immediately following the show and most people are talking and exiting the park. It's beautiful.

The same exact thing happens to me. No other show can do that to me.

Depending on what you meant by that I have to say either A) Too bad, this is in the WDW section of MC or B) Ewwww.

Well if Spectromagic isn't on I have to go with Fantasmic.

And I am certainly shocked at how many fan RoE has. I mean it starts the best of any Illuminations, but I always thoughtthe 25th's show was better...apparently alot of people don't share that.

Well I guess the poll should be rephrased to favorite WDW Nighttime Spectacular since it's in the WDW forum section?

And I love Hallowishes, but besides that I like Illuminations. Why can't I vote for both?

I figured that would be a bit redundant, but if a mod wants to rename it anyway to avoid confusion, that would be fine (the only reason the Poll says "WDW" is because it was on the portal page).

Well, you can't really have more than one favorite (although two may come extremely close).

Actually, I meant A ... as in Remember at DL with Believe right behind. I didn't even think of the other implication until I just reopened the thread, but yes, there are some nighttime spectaculars that can blow a Disney fireworks show out of the ... nevermind.

Back to your original question, if I had to pick just one it would be the current Illuminations as shown on NYE. Simply the most amazing show anywhere and I've been all over on holidays.

On a nightly basis, Illuminations RoE is still the best by a hair over the original show.

The late, lamented Sorcery in the Skies at Disney-MGM Studios would be next followed closely by Wishes, which has great pyro but its soundtrack is little too kiddie for me.

    Great question, BTW!

I'm just curious, have you seen Epcot's Peace on Earth finale? I ask because many people on various boards have said that finale tops all others. (I have yet to seen it, so I'm just going on what others have said.)

Re: What is your favorite Nighttime Spectacular?

Question for you Mike1..Did you see the Christmas version they played several years ago? Your thoughts on that one? ..and I am talking about the full scale Xmas IllumiNations show, not the add on finale from last year which was lifted from that show I am talking about and plopped in ROE...
