The same thing happened as I got older as well. Although I always loved Maelstrom.

I wouldn't know since there's nothing to do there at night except go to Fantasmic and ride the human wave out.

Seriously, it just occurs to me that I've never seen the Studios at night. Nor DAK, but that one is understandable. I always liked the footage of the night Studios that I saw on TV around it's opening, but everytime I've been I basically leave no later than sundown.

Anyway, I'm going to pick Epcot, because it's very Astro-Tomorrowland and proud of it. I hope they never replace that dated 80s silver/blue signage around the entrance. If only I had been able to ride Journey Into Imagination. Le sigh.

1. Epcot
2. Magic Kingdom
3. Animal Kingdom
4. Disney Hollywood Studios

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are just about equal for me. I could have flip-flopped the order of those two. I like both parks ... One doesn't stand out that much more than the other.

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?

if you think its a water park..which one? (ive actually never been to Typhoon Lagoon, just Blizzard Beach..it was cool, but way too crowded, not all that fun)

and in the general consensus... RnRC and Tower of Terror are absolutely amazing..the problem i have with Hollywood Studios is that theres just not that much to do since its a small park (but sizewise bigger than MK, theres a fun fact) and its getting old, cause whenever im there im done with the park by about 6:30 or 7..however Toy Story Mania is the greatest thing since sliced bread....and as for EPCOT, well in my opinion its the least Disney of the 4 parks..but has an amazing overall experience..walking through the countries is fun, and Test Track and Soarin' just make my day there..and Animal Kingdom is Animal Kingdom..its dull, good concept but doesnt do it for me

my order:
1. Magic Kingdom
2. Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT)
3. Hollywood Studios (very close behind)
4. Animal Kingdom

Too easy -- Epcot!! It's simply a great, well-rounded, all-day park.

DHS is alright. DAK is so-so at best.

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?

Studios wins as my second favorite too.

There are the obvious reasons (Tower of Terror and Rock 'N' Roller Coaster), some of the best cast-member interactions available in any park (Citizens of Hollywood, of course, but a meal at Prime Time Cafe has become a must-do for me. We have great and fun servers every time), some of the favorite properties of a child of the 70s/80s (Star Wars, Indy, and the Muppets), and the promise of Pixarian greatness in Pixar Place. Certainly there's plenty of room for improvement and additions, but I do enjoy the Studios.

Epcot is my favorite. It's mostly nostalgia for what the park used to be that drives me back there. It will find its voice again some day. "Tomorrow's child! tomorrow's child! Shining a brand new way, for the future world is born today!"

Re: besides MK, which is the best WDW park?

wow looks like my views are in the minority, maybe it's cause while I've been visiting WDW alot recently and it was even my first disney experience as a child, I'm pretty much a California goer since ages9-20 it was the to go place for me.

In my book I'd vote Animal Kingdom that's the best I think it's cause I'm getting older and can appreciate a park just for being beautiful. Though I'll be honest I think I'm also biased by the fact that my mom liked this park alot on the last family trip we took together Her only good days were the two trips we took to Animal Kingdom durring that week (doubt anyone remembers but two years ago I asked for trip advice on this trip and my mom died from cancer about a month or two after). So yeah I have emotional reasons to prefer Animal Kingdom

Next I'll vote Epcot. Solid ride lineup alot of experiences that are ONLY found at Epcot, fairly well rounded lineup, good eats. I dislike how 80's it feels and the world showcase often feels like it could be more convincing somehow. But those are just complaints of how it could be modernized like Animal Kingdom

MK is pretty cool too, like the park alot but probably not as much as I like Disneyland. Best Haunted mansion hands down though

Studios- I'll agree with those who say it's got solid ringers in ToT and RnRC and that Toy Story Mania helps with value a bit. But I guess I can't help but still see this park as being a lesser experience to DCA. I mean I've never had an easy time getting around, I've had people get lost in the layout (I don't but not everyone is a theme park fanatic), Great Movie ride is just a travesty. Studios is definitly fun and I know it's been the favorite of more then a few. But I'd never rank it against the rest of the bunch

In Summary:
#1 Animal Kingdom
#2 Epcot
#3 Magic Kingdom
#4 Disney Studios

To be fair for DHS, I really enjoy that travesty. I love the Great Movie Ride! But who am I to fight with a fellow DAK lover? We are scarce!

So, which is better, Hollywood Studios or EPCOT? (and if you feel its Animal Kingdom, then theres nothing wrong with that either).
Depends on what you want to do. If you want to eat then none of them. If you want your kids to have fun then let them pick.

I have seen too many so-called grown-ups there for their own enjoyment and not for their kids enjoyment.

They each have their own theme and differences that make them unique as well as similarities.

Epcot cannot compare or even come close to being in the real countries they represent. I have been in all of the countries they represent at Epcot.

My daughter is finally getting tired of Disneyworld at age 11 (12 years she has been there now) and when she is 14 we plan to take her to Europe. We know people who are from Mexico (yes they are U.S. citizens) and we are planning to go with them to Mexico and stay with them and their family in Mexico for a few weeks. Their family does not like being in the U.S. so we do not have to worry about them coming here and taking jobs from others here.

We are planning one month in Europe for our first visit.

No one park is better than any other. Just depends on what the individual people like. They are all overrated.

What a sunny response!

I do agree it's great to visit Europe, though!

I will agree that the world's best cities are lacking in Disney parks.

No doubt. The Canada pavilion doesn't even have a hockey rink.
