There is supposedly an expansion pad by the Treehouse; between JC and the Treehouse if I remember correctly. Not enough room for a big attraction, but Raging Spirits or something along that size was supposedly able to fit in there.

But, I think the Tiki Room and Jungle Cruise updates would be more than satisfactory for a while.

I've not been to the overseas parks yet, but from what I've read and seen of the two Raging Spirits attractions, I'm a bit underwhelmed. I wouldn't mind it being added if nothing is taken out to accomodate it. But I'd rather see that money spent on upgrades and maintenance of existing attractions.

Can't beleive I'm thinking this but.... I kinda want MK to get a copy of Tokyo's Tiki with Stitch.

Anyone else thinking like me?

Yeah, I'm not saying it would be the best attraction in the area, but that size-wise is what would fit.

I agree though, it wouldn't be my first choice either.

No.

Please bring back the original Tiki Room.

There's also a larger expansion pad behind Pirates that could be used for Adventureland.

Re: WDI currently working on Jungle Cruise.

What I'd really like to see is an E-Ticket Aladdin dark ride. We'll have to see what the Harry Potter robocoaster is like when it opens next year, but it really seems to me like you could stick a magic carpet to one of those arms, and really create the sweeping movements that a Magic Carpet ride looks like in the film. Is there room in the Magic Kingdom's Adventureland for a ride of this scale though? If not, it would certainly be a great addition to the Arabian Coast at Disneysea. Even though I love the Pixar films, the Disney Renaissance really hasn't gotten a great showing as far as rides in the parks. There have been plenty of shows, but The Little Mermaid is the only one as of now that is going to get the treatment it really deserves.

Me too. They are just awful. Iago doesn't even LOOK like Iago. He barely looks like a bird. And the script is horrible. Tiki Room is the second-worst rehab (Stitch is first).

Couldn't be worse. They already have a couple Stitch animatronics that could easily be relocated to this side of the park...

I've suggested this a while ago. :P

Iago looks like a stuffed animal. Really bad.

A magic carpet ride would be great, but somewhere other than Adventureland would be preferable for me.

For me, the Alladin overlay at MK's Adventureland ruined the tropical theme of the land. The style and color are discordant with the jungle setting that was there from before. Moreover, the materials used in the overlay are flimsy and cheap - well below traditional Disney standards. Not to mention - the new spinner ride messes up the openness of the land and hinders traffic flow.

If, somewhere in WDW, they were to build an Arabian section similar to Arabian Coast at DisneySea, then I would be all for that. Heck, if they completely rethemed Adventureland to an Arabian theme - I wouldn't mind that either (as long as the quality of the theming was good), since Advetureland has really lost much of its raison d'etre with the opening of Animal Kingdom.

Also, I agree, I think the KUKA arm technology that Universal is using on the upcoming Harry Potter ride would be perfect for a magic carpet ride. As far as I understand, in the Universal ride, guests will sit in "cars" (ride vehicles) attached to a KUKA arms, which in turn are likely on a track. Recently, at Universal Studios Hollywood, there were some KUKA arms with real cars attached to them as part of some display - I expect the Harry Potter ride will be similar. Instead of the cars, for an Alladin ride, we could just as easily have magic carpets with several rows of seats in each vehicle.

No. Sometimes less is more. The additional characters - be they Iago or Stitch - add nothing to this attraction.

Close DAK's Dinosaur ride, repurpose the equipment, and create an all new Indiana Jones Adventure in a different temple we haven't seen before.

I would think that if they ever do another Indy attraction in Florida it would be at DHS
