No, Inspiration Falls is a smaller waterfall in the Amazon River of WDW's Jungle Cruise. But it's not going anywhere.

Have you been able to confirm the removal of the joke regarding Inspiration Falls?

For those who have not experienced the World Famous Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom, the joke is that Inspiration Falls, a small babbling waterfall, "inspires you to go... deeper into the jungle."

The joke hasn't been removed, it's been rewritten.

It now says, "inspires you to travel deeper into the jungle". Because that's a pun and all. Honestly...sometimes I wonder about the people who write the scripts these days.

I have no idea what your talking about

The original joke was "its called inspiration falls because it inspires you to go...deeper ino the jungle" and I guess the pun is where it says deeper? but the new version is identical isnt it? Can you explain the difference please

Haha this joke cracked me up last time I heard it. The skipper said it like, "This is called Inspiration falls, because when you look at it, it inspires you to go, go, GO! - deeper into the jungle."

The joke is that staring at it for a long time makes you want to take a trip to the bathroom - until the Cast Member changes the meaning by saying "into the jungle".

Boy, that was one great skipper...

I hope they don't change the script too much, that's the charm of the jungle cruise, the bad puns and jokes. the script isn't what needs work on that attraction, the animatronics and the docks do.

The script hasn't changed that much, from what I've been told.

As for the docks needing help, the dock is brand new from last year.

Are you an actual jungle skipper on the attraction? I'm wondering if this info is concrete. If so, what are the definate plans for the attraction. Just cleaning up and a new script for the skippers to entertain with or will new animatronics and track be added?

Re: WDI currently working on Jungle Cruise.

Oh please no - anything but that - I'd rather see Donald Duck in there before more Stitch. I'm sorry to those of you who love the little creature but I'm sick of them plastering him on everything. And he already has an attraction - it's incredibly horrible - but it's all his nonetheless.

I don't mind Iago and ZaZu in the Tiki Room - I agree that they need to do something with the script though - the voice of Gilbert Gottfried doesn't exactly go with the whole bird "nightclub" act that is the Tiki Room - it kind of kills the atmosphere. If they're going to update old, sorry..classic rides with new movie characters, they need to make it flow better.

I'll be very curious to see what they're up to with the Jungle Cruise. It needed something - especially since you can go on a safari with actual animals in Animal Kingdom.

I heard Tokyo's Tiki Room is quite a crowd pleaser. To me, alien annoyance and Hawaiian ugly duck Stitch are two different characters. We haven't gotten much Hawaii Stitch!

Sirgoofy, why would the Jungle Cruise need to be closed for most of next year? The Mansion refurb took only two or three months.

Re: WDI currently working on Jungle Cruise.

I wish there was less of a script. A few weeks ago I rode it twice, once with a 65yo (or so) skipper who was a monotone and I don't think understood the jokes. The 2nd trip had a young (college program?) skipper who was WAY off script and about 50% of all the jokes were new. I was crying I was laughing so hard a few times....and it was completely family-friendly and non-offensive. (The only thing I'm sure Disney wouldn't have permitted legally was the joke that used "Wal-mart" as the punchline)

WDW PRINCE
I know track wouldn't be added. That'd be ridiculously expensive.

Mansion doesn't have a huge river as a ride path. And as of now, I doubt anything as extensive as I was first told will actually happen.

So very, very true! Too many times is Stitch used as a Tasmanian Devilesque character. Good Stitch is one of Disney's greatest characters, and yet he is never referenced at the parks.
