News WDI currently working on Jungle Cruise.

Just wanted to let everyone know that WDI is currently working on the Jungle Cruise animated figures at night, which has been going on for about a week now. On top of that, a new JC script will be implemented in the next few months.

For those visiting next year, I would expect JC to be closed most of, if not all of 2010.

Possibly. I don't know all the details, but I do know there is a plan for a Mansion style redo of the JC.

Good to see the classics getting some TLC. Hopefully, after each major refurb, they will take care of these attractions so they don't have to be down so long in the future. Regular refurbs would be helpful in the long run IMO.

I'm excited to hear what the changes will be.

such a redo would definitly push WDW's JC up to the top of my must rides list.

Always been a Mansion fan and WDW's update made it the definitive version for me

no they're going to add in static figures from the Frog Princess and turn it into the Frog Princess ride the same way they created Tarzan's Treehouse at Disneyland :P

It is nice that WDW management has decided be focused on the Magic Kingdon ! After Space Mtn , JC.

Good to hear - hopefully this closure is more than routine maintenance, and the animatronics and effects can be updated along the lines of HKDL's. Two more changes still needed in Adventureland:

1. Get rid of all traces of the Alladin overlay.

2. Bring back the original Tiki room (but with upgrades to sound, effects, etc).

I would add another attraction as well. It's been a while since anything of value was added here.
