| Re: Walt Disney World Information Channel 1987 Narrator: Jim Turner current morning DJ at WBDO Orlando. By 1987 the show played from a LaserDisc in DACS control under Fantasyland. It used to take several weeks just to have the Laserdisc made in Atlanta. The animation goes back to a Merchandise art department formerly located under Main St where the animated scenes were made. Probably supervised by Ralph Kent an amazing artist with roots that went back to Walt and Disneyland. Many of the scenes were shot on film and transferred to video and the music was all "needle drop" library music probably Capital. My how things have changed. |

| Re: Walt Disney World Information Channel 1987 It's sad to see this in a way, especially when viewing the current hotel park info channel which just loses all the magic that Disney had in the 80's and 90's. Everything seems so commercialized now and glitzy. |
