Snow In Orlando? I sure hope someone gets some photos.

NWS is calling for a chance of snow flurries late tonight and early tomorrow morning. Has it EVER snowed in WDW before? I mean REAL snow?

Windchill forecasted to be 26 degrees tonight.

I've only heard of it snowing at WDW once. Strangely enough, there was a blizzard that hit only one beach. Everybody has celebrated ever sense by happily zooming along with the perpetual runoff.

Here in NorCal's San Joaquin, I'm not sure about the exact temperature. But, it will likely hit the 30's tonight (unless cloud cover prevents it). With the freezing weather plus windchill factor taken into account in the Orlando area, you couldn't pay me to trade places with that guy in the picture above.

It's only 45 degrees in Stockton. I wish it would snow again here.

I was about to imagine what Disneyland's castle would look like covered in snow, then I remembered we see it every year...

Only 45 degrees?! That's chilli willie! It's in the 50's in Sacramento. Weather news just in.. it could reach 38 in Modesto tonight (unless the cloud cover prevent it).. so Stockton will probably be similar.

Heard wrong about Modesto at the time I posted my first response. It's 48 here..but sure feels colder.

Weather man said this morning there is some "sleet" formations over Orlando, so some people will definitely see a "winter mix". (That's what he called it)

We had nothing this morning but I'm closer to the Gulf of Mexico so it wasn't expected.

Nothing in Orlando. Some snow clouds on weather.com surrounding Orlando but last night and this morning there was a definite bubble effect going on. Unfortunately even though the low tonight/tomorrow is 26 degrees the rain will be gone by then, so it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. so close =(

I think some snow accumulated a little north of Disney but none actually in Disney. The snow that actually did all was very minimal too.

I'd hope that WDW has some sort of plan if it does snow.. I know it seldom occurs (and its hardly going to be a blizzard) but surely they've got to have some sort of plan to clear walkways etc., right?

BTW it was -14C over night here Thursday.

Im sure they dont because they dont need one if it snowed which NEVER happends it would melt after about 5 mins it might get to freezing in Central Florida at 5 in the morning but the tem. wont hold and it will rise into the 40's-50's by the time the parks open. And IF there is actul snow on the ground at opening the crew membres could just sweep it to the side. O yea by the way there is 2 feet of snow here outside of buffalo New York and the High today is 9.

Re: Snow In Orlando? I sure hope someone gets some photos.

I snowed last year here in Tucson, AZ. It was about 2 in the morning and my oldest daughter came come from a date and woke me with the news that there was snow everywhere. About 5 inches. THe car was covered and the ground and the trees were beautiful. I woke up my 8 yr old daughter. We played in the snow at 2:30 am. It was dark out but so much fun. We filled every cooler we had so she could play with it the next day. I did take some pictures of it. We built a small snow man. By the time school started at 8 am most of the snow had melted. That's what happens when the sun shines here is Tucson. She keeps hoping that it will snow this year. We can go up the mountain and see snow at 5000 feet sometimes but that is an hour drive there. Straight up.

In Maine, we call the 30s T-Shirt weather. higher 30s and lower 40s seems a little too warm for snow.

It's currently 37 here in Clearwater and according to the Weather Channel, it's currently 35 in Orlando. I didn't see any snow or sleet today though.

We had some flurries... melted when they hit the ground instantly. Not what I'd really call snow, but technically, yes, it was snow. The sleet is just annoying.
