Ever got stuck on an attraction??

Have you ever gotten stuck on an attraction... AKA.. it stopped.... have you ever been evaced?

I have only got stopped on onmimovers to let people on who may not have been able to do it normally...

I haven't been completely evacuated, but HM once stopped and the lights went on as a couple of CM's led some guests backstage.

In November, we were in the middle of Soarin', right where Mikey hits the ball, and it stopped. The screen went blue, lights came on, and the seats went back to the ground. Turned out some idiot had dropped a backpack, and it took about fifteen minutes to re-start the thing. The same trip, we were in line for Roger Rabbit, and it went 101 as well. We were at the front of the line, and we saw the maintenance guys running around, trying to get it started again. At one point, a guy opened the control panel on the wall and, looking disgusted, pulled a tag out, said something about the wrong color, and replaced it. He was very cranky.

YEARS ago I was on POTC I think it was right before the battle scene. It was pitch dark and I was freaked out. We were stuck for I'd say half an hour at the most. No lights turning on nothing fun like that. darn!

Oh Heck Yea I have at Disneyland:
Pirates - Had to walk all the way from the town to the entrance
Haunted Mansion - Once I was stuck in the "Attic" section for almost 30 minutes. They finally made everyone walk off. I've been stuck on that ride at least 3 times for more that 15 - 20 minutes. My favorite was being stuck in the "graveyard" right after you are going downhill towards the old man & dog and turn around to see the crow. I stared at a crow for a good 20 minutes
Splash Mountain - Right after it opened and about a dozen times since. Only had to walk off once but I got stuck for an hour
Adventures Thru Innerspace (gone but not forgotten) - twice, the second time the entire lighting system went down for a few moments. Now that was fun!
Gondolas (another oldy but goody) - That one was scary because it was a windy day
America Sings - Weird but true

Dude I was stuck for about 45 minutes on the Disneyland version of Splash Mountain. I was in the final scene Zip a dee do da next to the Fat singing Hen. Opera singing hen may I add. That Hen was squaking for 45 minutes straight next to my ear and I was the only one in my log and the subsequent 20 logs backed up around me . I still break out in a cold sweat when i think of that hen

Several years ago, as we were going up Chickapin Hill in Splash Moutain (DL) we stopped a couple of feet from the top. What a buzzkill. The best part, though, was that we got to see backstage Splash stuff. Lots of chicken wire and unpainted rock cement all over. I wasn't wise enough to ask for a pass to get back in line when it came back up. I was too excited about seeing the back area that I forgot.

I got to see Space Mountain with the lights on as our car came to a halt halfway through. It's a hospital grey colored warehouse...bleh.

I have not been stuck on an attraction at WDW. (I've only been there once.)

I got stuck on Space Mountain once!! It was so cool!!! We were at the top and they turned the lights on!! It was great! Sometimes I wish that attractions go down so that I can see what the rides really look like!

Awesome...I have never got the chamce to get caught in an attraction. I wish I could though!!!!!

Heh heh- I forgot to mention that our boat got stuck- repeatedly- on IASW. We had to push it along, and we were all surprised that a CM didn't walk us off. (It was a slow night, though). It was hilarious- there was this horrid stench at one point, and then we got really stuck next to a speaker blaring out the theme song. (At this point a certain dude with an affinity for dark beers wailed "NOOOOOO!") When we finally pulled up to be off-loaded, the CM's were just standing there smiling and shaking their heads.

Not exactly a 101, but not your typical IASW ride, either.

Stuck next to the speeker... Thats dooms day... (you got the dud boat..) at least WDW is replacing the boats.....
