Exciting stuff. I can't wait to see it when it's all done.
So many questions... What does the yeti look like? Is there music on the ride? How long is the ride?
Can't wait to ride it and find out.

I think that it will be a big ride for DAK. I am sure that attendance will go up as soon as it opens. I hope is that BIG rides for WDW will continue. MK and DS needs another E ticket ride.

Impressive. I'm hoping to get over to WDW in the next year or so and this gives me even more to look forward to.

    Re: New Everest Pictures

It looks great, but the only thing that kind of stands out as an eye-sore is that undisguised lift hill. Is there any story behind that or is it ment to be exposed like that? Are there any loops in this track or is it comparable to Space Mountain at DLR?

No loops and the lift isn't unthemed, its a rickety old bridge connecting Shang-ri-la (or however it's spelled) to Everest...I mean a mine train has to get up the mountain somehow.

No one really knows what the actual animatronic yeti will look like, but many speculate it will look like this --> http://www.laughingplace.com/Showpic...3.JPG&caption=

I think that's pretty freaking awesome... and scary! As for music, no. There is no on-board audio, but there are supposed to be sound effects for things such as the yeti roar, noises from the train, etc. The ride is I think supposed to range from 3-4 minutes, and I would guess it's around 3,000-4,000 feet in length? That I'm not sure about though...

Yeah it is supposed to be at least 4 minutes in length...but as far as track length I don't know. I do know some of the time comes from the lift, the story telling and the reverse times (though it's all probably wicked quick to go through).
Al I can think of it RNRC is short...it feels short. BTM is only like 2.5 minutes. A Rollercoaster that hits the 4 minute mark sounds so great when you add in the story.

And I love the use of lore...especially in the southeast Asian art style...it shows this legendary "monster" as vicious, and shows the "villagers" have much respect for it...so all at once this Yeti is a monster and a diety to these people.

God this ride looks so fun.
