So when did the wall around the Everest village come down? That's a nice new area, too bad I missed it last weekend.
And the logo is back up on the archway eh? Nice. I guess we'll be keeping the name for a bit longer.
I go to FBA.. an miss out a chance of WDw with MKT... *note to self.. Find out when he is going next.. and find a way..*
tloolgb... you win a year's supply of Doritos. Cheezy. Or something like that. Since I don't like the new ones, that amounts to a year's supply being 1 Dorito, incidently the crushed up one growing mold under my roommate's bed. Look for it in the mail real soon, as I know where you live! LOL
and now for todays pics
The rest are here.. ENJOY!! http://www.mkt3000.com/pics/disney_11-06-05/

It's probably just me (and the fact I can't sleep) but the word "Please" sounds odd in that sign, almost like they are screaming it at you sarcasticly, lol... "PUH-LEEZ- Parent/Guardian Swith Waiting Area"Originally Posted by mkt

Well that is WDI correctly remaking the Asian feel with signs in English trying to lure in tourists made by people who don't speak English. It's all about the theme.![]()
I was just in the process of uploading these! Err... I'm SLOW.Here are mine...
From the 2nd:
Outside of the park.
Even the character meet and greet areas are getting their decorations up!
With the snow the mountain looks very blue in the right lighting. Notice the change from only the 17th! (below...)
And these were both taken from the parking lot. It's awesome to see this mountain from the outside of the park. It makes me extra excited to go to the park now!
Can you see the blue here?
They also took down part of the blue wall and stationed a Cast Member there to greet and speak with guests. The signs and the Cast Member was saying SPRING of 2006. The details look amazing and I'm really excited to even walk through the area let alone see the attraction!
Child waiting area instead of the usual Child Swap FP ticket. I think this will quite interesting since it is different than all of the other Child Swap programs except for Star Tours. (Who can do it the traditional way but doesn't because of extra space inside the building.) I wonder if this system will work out better or if it will only confuse guests.
Gift shop anyone?
Exciting, huh?

Love the photos
nice photos BPF....
having just recently returned from a trip to the frozen north(alaska), I can safely say that Everest looks alot like Mt Mckinley. Mckinley towers over the rest of the alaskan mountains and was just as white as the snow on everest. I know one mice chatter( not me) who would give his eye teeth to be one of the first to ride it. Hope its open for trial runs soon cause am not sure he can wait till april. ( right figment???). One other note, seems to me that the decorations in AK are a bit cheesy. almost like 50s or 60s yard decorations or the ones that hang on the lampposts in some midwest downtowns. ( ok I grew up in Iowa). They dont't seem what I would consider the caliber of Disney decorations but I must say am hoping to get up there some time before Christmas because in all my years in Florida I have yet to see the Epcot decorations and I loved the osborne lights so much last year i can't wait to see them again!!!!
