Of course, unless the people who buy in just try to get into the other resorts instead of their home one.

EDIT: Interesting hypotheses on the other boards, the main question being whether the pool area replcating River Country in some way. If they do, it would be a great move. Of course they can't use the lake, but replicating the slides or creating some type of acknowledgment would seem necessary and a great idea. This pool area could rival Stormalong Bay if they so chose; just make sure it's named River Country...

I totally agree with this they need to make some form of acknowledgment to river country!

This doesn't bother me at all, then again, neither did Bay Lake tower either.

Thanks for sharing the cool plan. The link to the PDF didn't work for me and when I went tot the sfwmd website I couldn't find the drawing. I think I found the right application (101021-29) and I looked at the PDFs in the ERPTechnical folder but I just saw maps of the stable area further south. Nothing on the shore of Bay Lake. Am I looking in the right place?

    Thanks

For Sure, nice standing water right on the edge of a man-made lake...sounds like a recipe for mosquito heaven to me...maybe they plan to reclaim some of the Lake and build upon that?
The test of success is not what you do when you are on top. Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.

the first time I went to wdw, we were moved from an all star resort to Saratoga springs because Disney was completely booked. the second trip we made, we tried to add an extra night and every single hotel room was full...except for dvc. so while I think that there is room for more hotel growth at wdw, I think it should be like the art of animation hotel, and not more dvc units.

I thought the whole appeal of staying in fort wilderness is because its sorta secluded and is somewhat like camping. I think a 20 story DVC building sorta takes away from that. Do not like.

From what I've heard, the link is inactive now and they've taken the plans off the site. I'll take the link down.

It's not a man-made lake. Seven Seas Lagoon is man-made, Bay Lake is natural.
