Also, WDWMagic insider Lee has posted a Paint tracing of the track layout of the Mine Train coaster.

Of course, all credit goes to Lee:

wow. if that is accurate, its a lot more track then I was anticipating. Hope its accurate.

I was looking at one of the latest aerial photos posted in the link above and noticed that there is an empty lot with what appears to be water in it behind the BatB attraction. What do you think that is for?

I think it is required by the state, although I could be wrong. When I was stationed in Miami we had one on the South side of our aircraft wash rack. We were told it is required. In fact you can see them all over Florida.

So, is it a water reservoir in case of a fire? That would make sense, though.

Honestly don't know, I always figure industrial runoff/containment. If you look at googlemaps it wasn't always there. Seems it was built for construction???

I was still hoping that what appears to be a water retention pond was really "The Beautiful Briny", complete with codfish, cha cha'ing eels, and an underwater ballroom dance contest.

From the bottom of the pictures, you can see the colored rock wall. My guess is by Toon Park. I would imagine these are going either on the Train Station walls for the guests to look at while the train is stopped to refuel, or the (former) entrance to Toontown Fair.

But I can assure you, based on my experience knowing ride layout's ect. That is not going to be the track layout.
