I'm just hoping everything besides the Mine Coaster is open by August 2012 when I go![]()
well for sure you will see the majority of the storybook circus including the double dumbos and interactive queue, great goofini, casey jr water play area, train station ect. however you will miss out on pete's silly circus and a few other parts of the circus that wont be completed until later. as for the rest of the fantasyland expansion, you for sure will see it, the outside parts will all be completed by then, but I would say it is at this point highly, highly unlikely that little mermaid or BatB will be open.
WDWMagic is reporting that the Enchanted Grove (the quick-service fruit and drink location next to Mad Tea Party) will be renamed the Cheshire Cafe when it emerges from its current refurbishment.

Mermaid Mural for Disney World
Sorry for grammar mistakes! I'm not really good in English!
Thanks for the link. Perazza's a sensational artist. Looking at the mural through the castle cellar arches should be a superlative effect.
Installation of the new Dumbo spinner has begun.

^^Sweet! Glad to see they are changing the base at least a little bit.
Is anyone in or around the Magic Kingdom? It sure would be great to have a update.
There was an update on Tuesday on Orlando Theme Park News.
ORLANDO THEME PARK NEWS: Fantasyland Update: Belle's Village & More (PART 1)

Read the rest of this entry here : Everything Walt Disney World: Latest Fantasyland Expansion Updates. The Little Mermaid attraction is finished inside and cast members have already ridden it. He described it as "slightly longer and a lot better" than the one in Disneyland.
The Little Mermaid attraction, officially known as Ariel's Undersea Adventure, will open this summer.

^^ Good to hear! DLR's is beautiful but it just ends very abruptly because of the limited space. Since WDW has more room i have been hoping they would make the ending more gradual and it seems like they have.
They didn't really start on TLM until the Batb areas got a good head start so this is surprising. Then again, they already have the animatronics ready for this new ride (which I thought was going to be a clone). I won't take the source to heart just yet but it would be great for the guests to have TLM done earlier than planned.

I'm sorry to say, but it has been discussed and proven over the last year that the actual show building and everything inside it will be an exact clone of what we have in DCA. For my guesses, I think he was talking about the length, the immersiveness, and the huge size of the waiting queue as a part of the attraction, which is a definite plus. What I'd be looking most forward to for WDW's little mermaid attraction is its outside facade, immersive queue, and (HOPEFULLY) much better set lighting. The show lighting for DCa's sets are horrible and unimpressive.
The lighting of the 'Under the Sea' room destroyed the feeling that you're under the sea. It's too bright!![]()
