    Pixar Parade?

Block Party Bash is about a week away from ending it's run at DHS and a mere 15 days later a "new" Pixar Parade will make its debut. Is there any new info on the parade? The DHS calendar has no parade scheduled for Jan. 16th but I assume that's just temporary until it has a name, weird that it wouldn't have a name yet since it only has about 3 weeks before it starts performing.

It'll probably be some crappy chopped up version of Block Party Bash put into parade form.

    A PIXAR PARADE!? That's AWESOME!!!!
    Jessie is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fav part in 2 is:
    Buzz: clears throat)
I just wanted to say you're a bright young woman with a beautiful "yarnful" of hair... er, "hairful" of yarn. It's...uh...woah. (clears throat) I must go!
Jessie: Well, aren't you the sweetest space toy I ever met!
    Buster: (barking)
Slinky: What's that? Bark, bark? Uh...this fellow says he needs to go out back for a little "private time"!
Jessie: That critter needs help! (jumps on toy car) Yodle-ay-HEEE-HOOO!!!!!
    Buzz: (wings suddenly pop open)

Also, my fav part in 3 is:
    Jessie: turns on Spanish music)
Buzz: involenterily starts dancing) I...I don't know what came over me!
Jessie: goo-goo eyes) Just go with it, Buzz!
(Then, they start doing the Paso Doble to a Spanish version of "You've Got a Friend in Me". Towards the end of the dance, Woody tosses Jessie a rose to catch in her mouth. It's awesome.)

The new parade has a name, but I can't remember it off the top of my head. I remember seeing it posted here on on Disney's blog awhile back.

Gee, I wonder if they are just going to ship DCA's Pixar Play Parade to WDW, again.

They should use this as part of the promo:

"Go to WDW where you can see all the old DLR parades"

    Re: Pixar Parade?

I'm pretty sure I read that the "new" parade will consist of the same BPB floats with the music from DCA's parade.

Well, I think that it would be GR8T if they have a Pixar parade, same or not. I just LOVE Pixar, and also, I LOVE repetition! (No, seriously, I do. I think it's part of the fact that I have Asperger's. It's crazy, I know, but ur going 2 have 2 live w/ it. Same w/ me.)

Am I the only one who thinks its odd that the Pixar themed parade won't actually go through Pixar Place? Seems like a missed opportunity to me and one that will confuse a lot of guests.

    Re: Pixar Parade?

I've seen it at California Adventure. I garantee it won't live up to Block Party Bash. It's still a good parade, though.

    Re: Pixar Parade?

Random Fact: Gypsy Moth (voiced by the late, great Madeline Kahn) and Slim The Walking Stick (voiced by David Hyde Pierce) from "A Bug's Life" are both consistently in the Top 10 most requested walkarounds at WDW according to 6 different websites that I was perusing last night. Does anyone else find this odd? Anyone? Thoughts?

That is exactly what is happening. The new parade will feature The Incredibles, A Bug’s Life, Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc., Up, and Toy Story. The only thing DHS is getting from DCA is the Pixar Play Parade music.

DHS is not getting the floats from Pixar Play Parade at DCA.
