Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun Parade

Disney proudly presents, the Pixar Low Budget Parade!

I've got to say that this is an absolute joke of a parade compared to Block Party Bash. The Up float is disgusting. The Ratatouille float is straight out of a 50's kitchen. The Incredibles float is mortifying and overall this parade is awful. Makes Block Party Bash seem like the greatest parade that ever existed.

At least the soundtrack is catchy...because it's the Pixar Play Parade soundtrack.

That's the best I can say...

Yeah I got word today from the peeps that they were less than wowed by the parade, but I am not surprised.

The parade was changed for cost reasons...cut all those pesky hired out performers and those show stops and the cost of those balls. Reuse old floats and repainted them instead of building anything new. Add a new song because those are cheap (even more so if you can get one already being used at another resort). BINGO. New parade.

Not surprised. This is modus operandi for WDW. Hello Magic Kingdom parade!

(Though I like the Pixar Play Parade music)

I went to see it today, but I blinked and missed it!

And yes the music is the only redeeming quality.

Thumbs down Re: Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun Parade

BOOOO!!! I've never seen such cheap floats in a theme park parade. The new floats look like they were made overnight, the plywood wasn't even sanded down in places. Also, way too short.

This parade has no new floats. The "new" floats you are referring to are the old block floats from BPB with a new coat of paint.

Wow, that is amazing. Why doesn't WDW get it? No wonder Universal blew them away last year. Gotta spend money to make money...

wow, that was pretty bad, they just keep bringing that parade down, first they shorten the show stop then they give the floats horrible 5 minute paint jobs and "borrow" music from a far superior parade...it's very sad, DHS should have had C!ASP sent over.

I don't get it. So the fun at the end of the countdown was a pair of giant traffic cones?
It bothers me when people selectively edit quotes to support whatever point they are trying to prove.

Trust me, I was very close to BPB, but get your criticisms straight. These parade floats are the same as BPB, just repainted "tweeners". WDW only shortened show stops during the oppressive summer heat. Other than that BPB was the same as it ran in DCA. Maybe you don't care for this, but did you really want BPB until 2014?

But it isn't 2014 now is it? No its 2011 and the parade was going into it's third year not it's 6th. If it was the parade's 6th year than maybe this would be a little more than half-decent. But either way, the parade still sucks and makes CR!AP at Disneyland come across as Dreamlights.

And I agree with KingEric, someone (or a group of people) need to be fired for this.

This would be suitable if it were for a season, but not a serious replacement for longer than a year.

The "tweeners" are acting as floats, and not "tweeners" as they were in BPB. If I had hair left, I would pull it out while watching this.
