Magic Kingdom Update 11-22-05

I visited the Magic Kingdom last night. (That's why the date is yesterday)

Anyway, here's an update...

Even more Christmas Decorations have been put up on Main Street. It looks amazing!

Timekeeper is opening today and will remain open through Sat. with hours of 10am to 8pm. It is on the Times Guide.

Splash Mountain has re-opened. The rubber handlebars have been replaced with new ones, and the larger tear in the scrim in the finale has been repaired. Hopping Brer Rabbit doesn't hop.

The Haunted Mansion's cobwebs are being re-strung this week. As a result, many areas of the mansion were cobweb-less. I must say though, it's about time! Also, I can't remember if there was always a candle on Madame Leota's table or not, but there is one now. Can anyone remind me when that was added? lol Also, there is new lighting behind the mansion that creates an errie glow around the mansion. I do like it very much.

Crowds are beginning to pick up, but I expect today to be the day when it starts to get really crowded for the weekend.

That's my mini-MK update. I didn't have a camera, and there was really nothing to take a photo of, so, that's all for now!

Very nice update. Makes me itch for a visit. Unfortunately it will have to wait until after the holidays.

I know how you feel Bill... I neglected to take my camera to TDL yesterday the 22nd and got a dead center seat for the castle Xmas show and TOT got uncovered in a couple of spots... I was so Ticked!!!
