    Homeland Anti Hippo Association

Recently, some Disneyland Jungle Cruise Skippers posted a video about saving the animatronic hippos that roam the rivers of the Jungle

    Save the Hippos (AAHCS PSA)

.....Not be outdone, WDW's Jungle has "challenged" the pro hippo side with a video of their own

    Homeland Anti Hippo Association

....It's all in good fun of course, and it's a neat way to see the sort of sibling rivalry that the two jungles have with each other.

Pick your sides folks. Are you for saving the Animatronic hippos or for shooting them?

    This. Is. Awesome.

Count me as a member of H.A.H.A. Aside from my east coast loyalties, I think we've had enough Eisner era political correctness on this particular attraction. Animatronic hippos were made for shooting. And they are made of pure evil. It's science. Protect the homeland! Kill the hippos!

I knew if this business was ever to get anywhere, if this business was ever to grow, it could never do it by having to answer to someone unsympathetic to its possibilities, by having to answer to someone with only one thought or interest, namely profits. For my idea of how to make profits has differed greatly from those who generally control businesses such as ours. I have blind faith in the policy that quality, tempered with good judgment and showmanship, will win against all odds.

Count me as part of the Anti-hippo crowd...nothing gets me going like shooting a hippo on a day at the parks

It bothers me when people selectively edit quotes to support whatever point they are trying to prove.

    Brilliant! Hilarious!

Love the artists' renderings of the relocation program, and the protest song made me laugh so hard it hurt. I loved how the music started playing before he even touched the guitar.

It really is a perfect representation of West/East Coasts, too - the California video is all soft and mellow, while the Florida one is loud and raucous.

The last three times I've been on the cruise, they didn't shoot the hippo. Twice, the skipper fired a warning shot up into the air, and once he waved the gun and yelled, "Shoo!"

I say shoot them this is a lost cause save them your letting evil live. We all know they charge our launches with intentions of sinking us if we let them into the other water ways they will do the same.

Save the Hippos!! They are not created from evil.

This is about the best campaign ever. It left me smiling and giggling for hours. Kudos to the ever creative Skippers on both coasts! Off to join AAHCS, my mom's favorite animal is the hippo and she needs a new shirt!
