    The Muppets are back!

Such a great thing to finally say lol. just wondering what everyone first off thought of the film (personally i just watched it yesterday and it is now my one of if not my favorite Muppet movies) and second because of its recent big success will Disney finally give it the mini-land it deserves at DHS?

I loved it! I've seen it 3 times and I want to go again. It is my favorite movie ever. However, I really thought it would do better at the box office. I know it didn't cost very much to produce but I was expecting it to bring in at least double what it is. Although I would be extremely happy if Muppets finally get their own mini area but I doubt it will happen unless the movie suddenly makes a huge increase at the box office.

I loved the movie! When Kermit came out with his banjo, I was all, "I am not going to cry. I am NOT going to cry!"

I made it about four lines into the song.

I loved the movie. I would love to see Muppet's Vision 4-D get redone, and an actual ride built... le sigh

Ha! I had napkins ready to use as kleenex because I KNEW they were going to do "Rainbow Connection" and that song ALWAYS makes me cry.

The Muppets have as rich of a history as Disney, so they totally deserve to have more a presence at DHS. If anything, I would KILL for a traveling Dr. Teeth & the Electric Mayhem show (kind of like how it was done with them at Epcot in the "Muppets Go to Walt Disney World" special that aired back in I think 1990) that would make stops throughout the park and perform a few songs before moving on.

That would be awesome! I'd be happy if they just brought out the muppets mobile lab more often.

    YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

The muppets really do deserve more than a 20 year old 3D movie. The amount of character and heart that they have is almost as emense as the fab five (maybe more since Disney started watering them down for marketing). But Disney, especially TDO, has refused to spend more than they need to. I doubt it will happen but I'd love the great muppet movie ride.

I'm in the minority on the film. I thought it was okay but nothing great. But hey if it gets us a Muppet ride in the future, I'm all up for it.

Don't lose hope. Tron didn't do incredibly well at the box office either but that didn't keep them from doing ElecTRONica at DCA.

It's really hard for me to be objective about it! I guess in a few years I'll be able to look back and judge if it was really as good as it seemed to me at the time.

Yes, but Tron Legacy cost almost $200 million to make...

Both Muppets and Tron doubled their respective budgets... but I could see more Muppets movies just simply because it's "lower risk"
