Haha, be there? Nah... only every hour of the day!!! lol

I start my Disney College Program on Feb. 1st, so I'd be cool with meeting some people if I'm not working

Sounds like more people than I thought will be there next month! Good times

Nah, I love Stitch... I can do his voice perfectly.

I don't love his attraction by any means though, but I'll still do it!

The "smell" is just because of the Chili Dog.

    Re: Who's going in February?

OK, I'm going to attempt to resurrect this thread with some updated info...

2/8 Arrive at CS roughly 8PM.
2/9 MK with a noon character lunch
2/10 11AM we head to Sunset Pointe (near the Polynesian) to exchange vows and celebrate our 10th anniversary! After that, it's lunch at the Polynesian and then off to MGM Studios for the remainder of the day.
2/11 AK (Where we hope to ride Expedition Everest!)
    2/12 Epcot
2/13 Open day. Depart at roughly 4PM to get a 7PM flight.

We don't have a park hopper pass for this trip. However, we do have an extra pass to burn, so I'm not opposed to meeting a micechatter or two at the park of your choice on one of those days.

Maybe if we all post our itineraries, we can find a common place and time to meet.

    Anyone? Anyone?

Now I'm picturing Bill walking out of SGE saying in Stitch-voice "Awww, my ride really blows. And stinks! Yech!"

    *Bump*

Any interest in meeting up? Let me know in the next day or two. We leave Wednesday afternoon for WDW and won't likely have an Internet connection once there.

Just got back from a week at POFQ. Other than the loud work on the railings of building 4 the stay was awesome. Crowds were nil and only a little rain.

    Hi Steve,

Good chance we'll be hitting Magic Kingdom on Feb 13....not sure on that yet. We leave that day and haven't decided where to go or what to do. I'm not opposed to giving you (or anyone else here) my cell number via PM if you want it.

Steve, traditionally that was always the case. The thought process is that people generally start vacations on Sunday or Monday and the first park most people want to go to is the MK.

But I wouldn't change your plans. The week you're going will get steadily busier due to Valentine's Day and then President's weekend.

Now, the MK will close earlier Monday (9 p.m., I think) than later in the week ... Friday is 11 and Saturday is midnight ... so that might be something to think about. But the crowds will be MUCH worse then.

    Have fun!

Thanks for the info. We're still going Monday...I can't start the trip anywhere beside the MK...and we're going back on Thursday instead of Friday. For Friday, we're going to do MGM and finish up the night again at MK for a last night of fireworks.

It's bizzare...I'm 39 years old and feeling that nervous excitement about going like I'm a kid again.

    Re: Who's going in February?

    Have a great time, Steve.

And don't spend all your time in the parks. That's truly a waste as the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a destination in its own right. It has a very peaceful vibe, unlike some of the other resorts that tend to be loud ... has the amazing animal viewing from almost anywhere ... a very relaxing pool and spa area ... two great resturants in Boma and Jiko ... nice bar etc ...
Some people stay there literally just to sleep, which is a complete waste.

Funny thing is I am 6 days away from being there at the parks, and when I read this, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I'm 35 and have the same thing going on- Just like a big Kid. Hard time sleeping, my wife---not even a little nutsy- just me. And the kids. Mostly me.
