Help me get to WDW!

I know this is probably the wrong place to post this. However, I figure this will help me get a trip to Disney World, so I might as well go for it here.

Recently, my wife lost her job, and we are living on 1/3rd of the salary we were living on last year. I work full time as a teacher, but that doesn't pay much, especially because I'm at a private school.
Anyhow, I'm trying to win free gas to a year, so I could drive to WDW and a few spots for our vacations the next two years.

It's very simple to help me. All you need to do is LIKE the grocery store Giant Eagle at this link on Facebook. Then vote for my picture. I'm actually in 3rd place right now, but am looking to move up! Please help me my fellow MiceChatters!

+1 I voted as well as posted it on my wall I dunno how much good that'll do though I hope it gets you more votes...hopefully you end up pulling a late rally to win this contest, when does the contest end?


Edit: I tried doing the Chicago way and voting early and often, but they busted me and said I already voted...stupid computers tracking things and such!

Hahaha, Thanks! Yes, they know how to stop it. Fortunately, I only need to get in the top 3 then they have judges decide which is the best. Even though the first guy is killing me by a bunch. If I can secure 2nd place, then I'll be good. I think his photo isn't too creative.

I really appreciate it ORD. We'll get through it, she's going to start working next fall at my school, but it doesn't pay much. She had a good computer science job that let her go. Her salary was double mine. We're just paying the bills with our savings and my salary until then

I gave you a vote, but I'm betting your biggest competition isn't the nerd with lots of face book followers. I'm guessing it will be the baby... if you have female judges the baby wins over a fart joke every time.

I agree... I think the baby may have cheated to get their votes. They got a hundred or so votes in an hour or so. They could have good twitter connections like the nerd, I dono but it was suspicious. Anyhow 4th place is catching up to me, I'm running out of places to get votes. It's kind of tough; I exhausted my friends list. O well. Thanks for the vote.

Update on my contest: I am currently in 3rd and only 20 votes from 2nd place! Help me catch up to 2nd place. Please vote. Contest ends June 29th. The only way I'll make it to Florida with this contest is if I win. The 2nd and 3rd place of $150 is nice, but not near free gas for a year.

YOu do realize there's a ton of teaching positions down here in Florida! You should look into it.

It is hard to take my wife away from her family. I wouldn't want to move away from my family. Family is more important than Disney. Disney is quite up there on my list though. If I didn't have family, I'd consider it definitely. I would at least move a lot closer!

Of course, I like Disneyland and wouldn't mind living closer to there either .
