What order do you go to the parks?

Just wondering in what order you normally go to the parks. It seems like for me we always go in the order they were built.

First couple of trips we only went to Magic Kingdom.

Then another couple of trips we went to Magic Kingdom and the Epcot.

Last trip we went to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.

I find it interesting how we always go in the order they were built and how if we only went to 2 parks would go to Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

ORDDU: I follow one special rule. I follow the first gorgeous hunk I see and stick close to him regardless of where he goes--a queue line, a character meet and greet line, the men's room, etc.

Usually our visits are 5-6 days and the order is usually MK >> EP >> AK >> HS >> and then either MK or EP again for the last day or two.

When we go my family usually spends anywhere from 4-6 days depending on the financial situation and we try to hit the parks that stay open the extra magic hours first if we can. It used to be when I was little Magic Kingdom and then Epcot. When my brother was little it was MK, EPCOT, and then MGM Studios as I still call it.

We do mk then epcot then park hop AK and Mk then DHS, then park hop epcot and MK then Ak again. We like to mix it up.

Well, we are usually in order of built too (MK,EPCOT,HS,AK) but then again we usually go in the off season. Our last trip was a bit different, however, as we went in late June. This is a little more crowded than we are used to so we took a different plan of attack. Not to plug the sponsors , but I used Touringplans.com to find the days that where least busy during our trip. This made for Epcot, AK, MK, HS. This is mainly because it seems like in order of built is pretty much standard, and therefore the most crowded way to visit. Not an issue in September, but definitely worth noting in the summer.

For me, MK, Epcot, AK, Then HS. Last time i went, we stayed 8 days, with a day of rest in between each park.Now, a couple times on our day of rests, we went out at night to catch the after dark attractions. That way, if i got tired during the day, i didnt have to stick around just for the night time events. Funny, as you get older, how your plans become strategic....lol

3 day: Magic kingdom .... Favorite place of my daughter
4 day: Animal kingdom... I just love it
5 day: Blizzard beach... Great thrills
6 day: Hollywood studios... Reserve the best for the last

On the day I arrive, if there's enough time, I'll hit Epcot first. Sometimes it's just enough time to get there for dinner.

After that, I go where the early morning entry is. I'll keep doing those until I've gotten to all four parks. By the third day, I'm usually doing a lot of park hopping, too.

If all things were equal, I'd start at Epcot (my favorite) then Magic Kingdom, Studios, and finally Animal Kingdom.

Newest to oldest. This includes parks outside of Disney as well. I make a list of all the new attractions that I want to experience and then work my way down the list. When I have experienced all the new stuff, then I go back to the classic rides.

If I'm going with a first-timer it's always in the order the parks opened, with a return trip to Magic Kingdom or Epcot the last day to have a fireworks finale.

For me, my family and I usually try to do Epcot first, then the Magic Kingdom, then the Studios. This is mostly the case of when we go to them first, not when we hit them again, nor does this include times when we just relax or go to water parks. We went to the Animal Kingdom once and I don't think we'll be going back again. We just don't think it's that different from a zoo, and the addition of Everest isn't enough to make me want to go back. One time when we went, however, in July 2002, Epcot was closed due to a power failure of some kind, so we went to the Magic Kingdom first instead, then the Animal Kingdom, then Epcot and then the Studios. But whenever possible, once again, the parks in order of first visit on my part is first Epcot, then the Magic Kingdom and then the Studios, avoiding the Animal Kingdom.

When my family would take longer, 10 day trips to WDW and USO, it usually would go:

Epcot
ISA/ US
DHS
AK/ MK (Wishes)
DHS/ Epcot
US/ ISA
MK/ DHS/ Epcot (Fantasmic and Illuminations)
And then park hop on the last day doing Splash, Soarin, Tower of Terror, and Everest (our favorite rides in each park)
