Citizens of Hollywood: Behind the Scenes.

Just for fun, I know the Cast Members have to wear their costumes when going to and from WDW and I'm just curious if anyone happen to see the Citizens of Hollywood behind the scenes. Would it be funny if you say Stone Granite getting groceries!!!

Side note: What qualifications do you need to be a Citizen of Hollywood. (Other than being an actor)

You can wear them going to and from work, but there are places where you can get changed. If you work at WDW, you do see some odd things backstage and It's quite humorous.

Cast members don't get to take their costumes home. At least they didn't when I worked there. Then again I pretty much worked right above the wardrobe department. Things may be different in other areas and parks.

It depends on the costumes. The "Character" ones have to stay, while the regular cast member costumes can go.

In response to what happens backstage... All I'm going to say is the cast members act out of character. It's not inappropriate, just odd-looking.

To be a member of Citizens of Hollywood you have to be over 35. A good friend of mine has made it his life goal to join them, but when he tried to audition they told him he needed to wait until he was old enough.

I was taking lost and found to Guest Relations one day when two of the citizens thought it would be funny to chase me down the street. Once we got backstage, they started asking things like "Whatcha doin?" Apparently they were bored lol
