    Best of luck to you!

You'll notice that Disney is oddly on time for the phone interview. I have no clue how they do it.

    Re: Disney College Program?

My brother did the college program and really enjoyed it! But unless you do the professional internship as part of a hospitality degree or something like that, don't count on getting any college credit out of the program.

My brother applied during his last semester and then worked there for 7.5 months after graduating, so it was really just a fun post-college experience for him. He didn't really get anything out of it professionally - they basically bring the college kids down there to do grunt work for low pay, from what I can tell.

If you want a few months of living there and getting to go to WDW every day for free, then go for it! But if you are nervous about completing your degree on time, or if you are very ambitious, it might be hard to make the Disney program work. You might be better off seeking out a more educational internship, or a study-abroad program where you actually take classes. But it all depends on your situation. Best of luck with school!

You don't get to go to the parks everyday unless you're talking about working. A good portion of it is working and sleeping. It's hard work, but it was well worth it IMO.

    https://disneyprogramsblog.com/

This is a Great Website for anyone applying to DCP or Intership.....
I know there is a lot of competition out there, but I know it's friendly.... right?

I'm writing down the answers to the questions I think they'll ask.
The Audition in San Fran hasn't been announced yet, so I'm anxious about that..

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE GREAT ADVICE!

As a business major, I actually took some time to watch what the managers were doing and why. You get to see how the park is ran behind the scenes. It's quite interesting.
Some parts may be rough, but it will be the roughest experiences that you learn from even though you won't realize it.

    Re: Disney College Program?

I worked as a part-time entertainment cast member at Disneyland for three years during high school/beginning of college and then went on to do a college program entertainment position to see how Disney World worked. Having seen both sides of the spectrum, if you want to see the workings then do the CP. You will get paid less then everyone else, but you do it more for the experience.

Has anyone been a part of the Disney Professional Internships?

I assume that the interview process is different than the Disney College Program? Does it still start with a phone interview?

How was the experience? What area were you working in?

Hello, fellow CP lovers! I am an alumni from the Fall 2010 program in FL. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any summer programs coming up for 2013?

Hey britta! You should look into the summer alumni program. I haven't done it, but I bet you can find it on Google. They should be offering it.
