ORWEN: Yes, ducklings, Prince Eric has a big, gaping hole--in the side of his castle, that is, and us cauldron girls saw it today! It looks just awful, too!
ORDDU: Indeed it does. While swooping over the New Fantasyland today, 9/2/12, we were all shocked by the sight of a black tarpolian which covered the hole that had been created in the side of the big, round tower where 3 arched windows used to be situated.
ORWEN: We also noticed that there are 3 new arched windows being built into another section of that same tower. The first set of windows were further to the right--just like Prince Eric's castle has them situated in the animated movie's version.
ORDDU: Of course we have to admit we never thought the original windows looked quite right where they were. We asked several cast members about the relocation of these windows and they all said they hadn't even noticed the change or the hole!
ORWEN: But we sure did!
ORDDU: Upon closer examination, we suspect that the Imagineers who built the castle must have thought that the original set of arched windows in that tower were not properly located, either. So that must be the reason why they're being re-positioned.
ORWEN: When the New Fantasyland finally opens and guests are allowed to pass through the new castle walls that separate the old Fantasyland from the New Fantasyland, there will be a walkway leading towards Prince Eric's Castle and the newly created arched windows will actually be seen much better as guests walk toward the castle. Before they were moved further to the left, they were practically out of sight in their original location. For some reason, Prince Eric's castle doesn't have that many windows to begin with. So I guess they have to position them just right so they look the best way they can.
ORGOCH: Well, what I wann' know is why they's been plantin' palm trees all around Prince Alergic's Castle??? The Little Meter Maid came from Denmark! There ain't no palm trees in Denmark! So why they got 'em in this new Fantastic Land?? Denmark ain't in the tropics and The Little Meter Maid didn't take place in no tropical settin'!!! Somebody's got their facts all wrong!!
