So as a newbie coming to WDW in December I wanted to know what you could recommend to me to eat or drink for the first time that you can't find at the Disneyland resort?

I love the Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian (kinda like french toast with bananas inside), and the grapefruit cake at the Brown Derby in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you go to Epcot, try Club Cool at Innoventions. They have Coca-Cola products from around the world at their booth.
Once there, try Italy's Beverly soda. You'll never forget it.![]()
And don't forget to get a reaction picture of you drinking it!

Epcot: School bread at Norway, fish and chips from the UK, or empanadas de Queso at mexico. but trying club cool and eating and drinking around the world are must do, cant miss parts of your vacation, you almost cant go wrong with anything from the world showcase.
DHS: a cupcake from starring roles, smoked turkey leg (i mean they come from the turkey leg company they have to be good lol), or the meatloaf from 50's primetime cafe
AK: honey chicken from yak and yeti, ribs from flame tree bbq, or the couscous salad at tusker house
there are plenty more from each of the resorts and boardwalk or DTD too but there are plenty of place to get really great food at disney don't just settle for a hamburger or chicken nuggets.
Howdy Pards,
Well, for this ol' cowhand, one of the best kept secrets of the Animal Kingdom is that Flame Tree Barbeque that Goofy Donald just mentioned. Their rib combo, or chicken rib combo is an absolute delight...and the outdoor seating there is among the most beautiful, delightful, enchanted spots you could possibly hope to find! Exotic birds, a beautiful lake with Mount Everest in the background, a fountain...all off the well beatin' pathways. It's a great place to relax and soak in the beauty around you. The food couldn't be better either.
Get there early...and enjoy!
Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

I can see the campfires smokin’ at the breaking of the dawn,
I can hear the bronco's neighin', I can hear the cowboys sing,
I'd like to be in Texas for the Round-up in the Spring."
