Premiere Pass Question

Hey All-

I've got a premium Disneyland pass that expires Jan 3 & I don't plan on renewing.
That being said, I'm looking to goto the world Dec 1-8 ish.

Can I upgrade my pass for this last month I have it to a premiere?
Do they pro rate the difference for that 1 month?

I've called the ap phone line and they say no, but I've heard of many others doing this.

Any insight would be great.

I'm sure they'll let you upgrade but not at a pro-rate price. Whatever the price difference is between your current pass and the premiere is what you would pay. That I you would need to do the upgrade at a ticket booth.

Yeah they will upgrade you, and you pay the full retail price difference. There will be no prorating.

Yep they will let you, but they can't do it at all ticket booths. You have to ask them when you go to the ticket booth and they will let you know where to go. At EPCOT IIRC it's not even at the ticket booths its at guest relations. Best bet would be to go up to the ticket booth and ask.

Have you done the math on your upgrade cost vs. a MYW ticket? I'm not sure it will be advantageous depending on your current DL pass.

Change of plans..kinda..

So the PAP expires on Jan 4.
If I renew it and then upgrade it to a PREMIERE, I'm wondering if the premiere part of it is immediately active? Or does that upgrade not take effect until the original pass expires on Jan 4? Has anyone done this?

If that is the case, I am thinking then of just buying a new pass for 87 down, MPP for the premium & then paying the difference for the upgrade. All cheaper than the 350 + for a MYW ticket as I need the parking perk and waterparks.

Has anyone done this? So much conflcting info on the web.
