Red Face A Small Choice of Little Consequence!

    hello all!

Well, my wife and I are headed to FL in June for our 10 year wedding anniversary! It will be a very short, but fun trip. We will be in WDW for 2 day and I find myself torn on a small choice. We have decided to stay in either the Beach Club or Yacht Club (because we really want to have access to Stormalong Bay), but which one. Now I know this is hardly like choosing between to vastly different resorts. They are both themed to turn of the century seaside hotels, they share common amenities and exteriors (outside of paint color), but I really want to hear everyone’s opinion. I have stayed at BC in the past, so there is also the "New" factor to consider with YC. We will be staying club level (anniversary and whatnot), spending day one in EPCOT and day to mostly in MK (probably). I'm also open to any romantic suggestions for the two days! Thanks!

Personally I do not feel that there is enough of a difference. However Yatch Club does have superior water views, if you upgrade to that.

I went with no difference. There are little pros and cons for each.

Yatch like Eric said has slightly better views, of course depending on the room that could void that point. The Yatch is closer to the boats to Epcot and DHS, granted you are probably walking to Epcot anyway. The Beach is closer to the buses to other resorts. I've enjoyed staying at both and really have no preference.

For what it's worth, The Beach Club is only a AAA 3 Diamond Hotel, The Yacht Club is a 4.

I've heard that is because it has more facilities. The marina with the boat rentals, the tennis court and convention space earned it the extra diamond. Of course you can use all that just fine if staying at the Beach Club.

Im going to say the beach club for one key reason, walking distance. the beach club is closer to the world showcase entrance to Epcot which is nice as well as being closer to the bridge to the boardwalk and all the fun and entertainment thats there which i find to be a huge plus. finally, your closer to beaches and cream which is just the "cherry on top" if you will, sorry for the bad pun.
