The sad state of the Pirates Auctioneer

Just got back from MK. POTC is looking great (minus the mermaids) but the Auctioneer has seen better days. He rolls his eyes, his lips barely move, and overall, he looks like an insane monkey. WDW really needs to refurb him. Just wanted to share the sadness of it all.

Weird - the Auctioneer is usually one of the best-running figures in the show.

I know, maybe it was just a malfunction, but I doubt it.

how was the rest of your trip?
The test of success is not what you do when you are on top. Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.

Compare Disneyland's with WDW's side by side... it's sad.

    THANK YOU, Chris2fett!
I was impressed by this first video.

I wish Disney hired a pair of CalTech, Art Center College of Design, Harvey Mudd and MIT student engineers every year, preferably battlebots champions, who would devote themselves to having Disney's Audio-Animatronics surpass the robot, ASIMO, who performs in Innoventions. Disney fails to use the great talents of many who might LOVE to go to work for Disney every day. Astonishing developments that entertained might pay for themselves many times over.

Really? I didn't notice, and this is what I pay attention to the most on the older rides.
The one at WDW that really irritates is the Wicked Witch. She was SO amazing circa 1996 and now just looks average.

They need to have a full refurbishemnt, like Space Mountain
The new Star Wars plot summery:

Episode 7: Luke discovers that Darth Vader is not his father, and goes on a search for his real father

Episode 8: Darth Vader is resurrected and goes on Jerry Springer, claiming he is Luke and Leia's father

Episode 9: Princes Leia is not Luke's sister, making him furious (we all know why...).
