Flower & Garden Festival At Epcot Part 2 - On A Gorgeous TGIF, But With More Flowers!
Back on March 16th, I went to Epcot for the day to see the 20th Anniversary of the annual Flower & Garden Festival. I took some great pictures that day, some gorgeous butterflies and about 99% of the Topiaries around the park.

But in that thread, I promised to get some more flowers and the few topiaries that I did miss. And I held up to that promise today. I first went to Magic Kingdom for the morning to hit a few rides, and then took the express monorail over to the TTC to ride over to Epcot. On the way, I caught a glimpse of the new Iron Man 3 monorail, which was making its rounds on the Resort track. I rode it for a short trip later on and caught a video of it leaving the station, just for the pure enjoyment of my 6 year old. I will see if I can post it on here later after the pictures are done. And when I arrived at the TTC for the Epcot monorail, I was fortunate enough to get the Monsters University monorail. It was the light colored blue one but with some MU decals on them featuring characters & "fraternity or sorority" banners. My apologies for not nabbing a pic or video of it, there just wasn't time with the crowds.
When I got to Epcot, the park was very busy. I meandered over to the Butterfly Tent to nab some pics. There weren't as many butterflies fluttering around as there was last month. Or perhaps there were, but they were a lot smaller. So in keeping my promise, I went for the flowers this time, but got some of the winged beauties as well. I even managed to get a shot or two of a monarch caterpillar on my fingers. Till it pooped on me. Go figure. I spent some time in here for a bit, then went over to the Radiator Springs area to snap some flowers and both Lightning & Mater. After switching my paper annual pass for plastic, I went to China to get the dragon, then headed back out for the day.
Well onto the pics. A few notes, I didn't title them this time around like I did with part 1. I'm not captioning them either, for there are too many. Where there looks like there might be a few duplicates, it was just the burst mode on my Samsung Galaxy S III camera. That feature helps when getting the butterflies because they can move very fast. And of two shots of the ceiling of the tent, I snapped these because this was where the majority of the beauties were flying, as if they were trying to fly out into the world. And finally, of the large flower beds or "tapestries", they may look like dupicates, but notice that a few are by Journey Into Imagination, and the others are by the Odyssey restaurant and the Radiator Springs area.

And here's the 26 second clip of the new monorail leaving the station. It gets me all more hyped for the movie!
I hope you enjoyed the pics & the video.
