I love Disneyland even though Florida's Magic Kingdom is closer to my home.

Disneyland is sooo much better. They have an incredible POTC, IASW, Toon Town, HM, and from some of the photos I've seen of the new Space Mountain its going to be AMAZING!!! Plus they have Indy!!! Not to mention they have Fantasmic and the fireworks not to mention the Bleu Bayou. The few things that I like better about Magic Kingdom are the castle, and Mickey's Philharmagic.

This really is a personal choice. I visited WDW before DL, the MK has always been my yardstick. I personally feel the size of the MK makes it a better park, DL is just too cramped. I know a lot of the rides are better than at WDW, but the over all feel of the park has never been there for me.

Regarding size, I guess that it depends on what you are used to. MK felt way too big, plus it felt like it was missing too many attractions. DL's smaller footprint is a liability on crowded days (which is why we don't go there in the Summer). But I agree with those who say that MK doesn't feel "cozy".

Wow, that is a tough one. It's like which Godfather movie is better, 1 or 2? You can't have the second without the first and Disneyland is where all the magic started for me, so I'll have to swing toward the original... but I love them both!

Without a doubt, Disneyland Park, as there's so much more to do there than in the Magic Kingdom Park.

I prefer Magic Kingdom. Though our Pirates is lame, we got the better Mansion and Tommorowland.

is it ok if I ask how WDW's Mansion is better

I remeber both pretty well and they seem almost identical

WDW does have a few extra rooms but for the most part those rooms don't contain anything of consequence and some people would claim they even break the pacing of the ride (I really don't care it's a great ride either way)

the new Leota effect would seem to push DL's to be a little better but I wouldn't mind WDW recieving it (of course I'd perfer it if WDW would recieve it's own HMH)

WDW's Tomorrowland is deffinatly better though

Disneyland. It's the original and hold so much more magic than WDW - not to mention the weather at DLR is much finer than Florida. I also don't like the HUGENESS of MK. There's something magical about the intimacy of DL.

Heheh, we're gonna have to be closing a lot of threads around here if we do so because of duplication. It has been scientifically demonstrated in the Disney internet community that there are only 879 possible topics. Duplication will happen on any one topic in an average of 47.3 days.

Nonetheless, I will keep this thread closed cause Evil Minion wants it so. He makes me happy, and I try to return the favor.
