    Longest serving CM at WDW?

A few probably know of Oscar, the CM who works in Disneyland who has been there since the year dot but I'm wondering if Walt Disney World has anyone similar?

This recent Disney Parks video features Aunty Kaui who's been at the Polyneisian since '71 so I'm guessing she has to be at the top of the list.

    Anyone know of any others?

Not sure about since 71, but earlier this year I met a CM who's told me she'd been working at Epcot since 1982. She told me she wasn't there opening day but started about a month later. She worked the Kitchen Kabaret show at The Land and then Food Rocks until that closed. She now I guess floats between various attractions in Future World as needed. She said she loves working at Epcot.

I doubt she could be beat.

While in DLR the small resort has many CMs that went frontline to back of house, and some who like Oscar have worked their location or area for ever, WDW has changed a lot. I'm sure there are some who worked up the ranks or had specialty jobs like Auntie Kuai but WDW turnover is high. As that resort went from two hotels to twenty and 4 parks from 1 a lot has changed. Lots of new managers coming in and some old people not fitting into the new dynamics.

One thing in WDW is a lot of special employees in Epcot are foreign nationals that have been around a long time. Think of those band members that know their home countries native music and still play it while back at home the new generations think of it as a relic.

I spoke with a Barber at the Harmony Barber Shop, who has been there for a very long time. He is originally from my home town of Chicago. He and I had a nice conversation about both Disneyland and Disney World.

I've known a few people who were Go-fers during MK construction. They were kids and not officially on the payroll until a few years later.

Magic Kingdom still has a few ladies (2 or 3) that were opening day CMs, and are still front-line operators. Their overall seniority is #2 or 3 property wide!

One in particular even trained Phil Holmes, who still counts as a 1971 CM. As does George K I would think, even though he left WDW at various points.

There's an entertainment lead who's been there since before day 1 (hired prior for opening day). I don't think he's #1 but he's one of the few that were celebrated on the 40th anniversary.

There is Ben who helped during the construction of MK and still works in Fantasyland to this day. Really great guy.
