And it goes on - here's the 17-minute long assembly of clips that didn't make it into being their own 'mini-features' I shot from all four WDW parks. Be sure and watch in HD and enjoy!

Thank you for a fantastic TR Regions! It was very interesting to read your comparisons to Disneyland, (my home park) as I hope to get to WDW some day and see it for myself.

I appreciate the effort you put into this, the commentary, the videos...great stuff!

I had fun trying to figure out where some of those were taken. Great job!

Thank you all very much! And the photos keep coming - here's a batch of Everest images, which has perhaps some of the best area/queue/store decorations and themed areas around.

Not sure if this is an original artifact from the Himalayas or not, or indicative of Himalayan art, but it is certainly very Rolly Crump/Museum of the Weirdesque and so I love it....

Well, after going through the whole thread, you have convinced me that a trip to the World is worth the effort. Thank you!

Re: November 2013 WDW trip report - planning and ongoing updates.

Just got back from our January trip (posted pics to the WDW Daily Photo thread). This thread is great, because it captures all the excitement of someone who is discovering WDW for the "first time." Your pictures are lovely and it is nice to see that people are realizing what an amazing destination the Orlando parks represent.

Now that my kids are a little older, I can send them off for an hour or two on their own and take many, many pictures as I wander through the parks. If you love Adventureland or New Orleans Square in the original park because of the details and hidden places for exploration, then Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom were built for you! Epcot and Hollywood Studios are good in their own right, but for attention to atmosphere, MK and AK have no equal in the United States.

Very apt and accurate description - there is a ton of 'small stuff' to discover all over the place, and know I missed things even when exploring at a fairly leisurely pace.

Glad to be of any aid on that front and truly hope you'll have as pleasurable a time as we did on this trip, look forward to hearing about your planning as it occurs!

I shall have to go pursue your posted photos indeed, hope you had a great time! And yes, MK and AK offered a lot of 'surprises' and quirks and ambiance that people don't generally cover, a lot of fun to explore and find such.

And here are some newly processed/uploaded Magic Kingdom photos, with many more from all parks to come yet:
