I recommend the Habatchi Restaurant in Japan at Epcot, best meal experience I had!

Dining Japan in EPCOT is absolutely sublime. The tempura is fantastic and the atmosphere of the restaurant, its grounds and being able to look out over the entire bay form its high vantage point make it an experience I'll never forget.

It's Cheesy, indeed. But it's my kind of cheese. And yeah, the food isn't inspired, but there's plenty of it. ( For the same food without the show, I understand it's served next door, too.. )

thanks for responding. I didn't mean to to diss your favorite place.. I just wanted to know what its like in the perspective of someone who likes it.

I also, very much enjoy the sprit of aloha dinner show.

I've only been to WDW Resort once, but we went Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian and it was spectacular. We absolutely would love to go there again on our next trip, but we have since had our first child and they don't allow anyone under twelve.
Victoria and Albert's definitely earned the five star rating.

Loved eating in Japan in Epcot and I'm really looking forward to trying Be Our Guest.

Re: What is the one dining place your trip cannot go without?

I haven't been there since 2006, so this may change after the next visit, but for me it's Sci-Fi Dine In, and 50's Prime Time Diner. I love the atmosphere and the fun of both of these places. Since I generally don't spend too much time at the studio, it's usually lunch at Sci-fi, and dinner at 50s.

For that matter, if I want to break it down by theme park:
In Magic Kingdom, it's Liberty Tree Tavern
In Epcot it's Rose and Crown Pub.

Again, these are top in atmosphere for me. It's just a pleasure to be there. I love chatting it up with the waiters and waitresses at Rose and Crown.

There is no must-eat restaurant in Animal Kingdom.

The Surf and Turf at Liberty Tree Tavern may be the best steak I've ever had. Folks, you have to try this one at least once in your life. Reservations are a must though.

Jiko's. My favorite place on property. The sophisticated ambiance is inviting but the real star is the food. Exceptional and worth every penny.

For my family it is 'Ohana and Le Cellier. I always like to get Boma in there as well.
