First "onride" of 7 Dwarfs Mine Train

Yes, you read that right. Looks like Disney is beating us all to it and posting an on-ride video of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coaster.. albeit it still a work in progress.

As you'd expect, its does seem a bit spoiler-y.

I like it!!! I do hope it;s a little longer than what is showed like 2 mins minimum which falls in line with Space mountain or Matterhorn. With show scenes and a coaster it would be nice for it not to feel rushed.

Hey no problem. I was surprised that Disney did it really. I don't think they've ever shown so much of an up coming attraction.

And it might just be a clever trick, after all we're all going to want to see how those show scenes turn out now.

I think 2 minutes is possible. There is 1:05 of actual ride time in the video. It starts from the top of the first lift hill so is missing all the time from load until then. There is also a cut as you enter the mine area and another at the end of the mine scene which appears to pick back up about half way up the second lift hill. Finally it cuts off again before you get back to unload. Add all those cuts back in and it could make it to 2:00.

I really liked what I saw in the video, looks like it is going to be a fun ride. Just waiting to see the final quality of the characters in the show scenes.

My expectations were low for this and the video is about what I expected from it. I'm of the opinion that it was a horrendous idea to trade the dark ride for a dinky roller coaster. Sadly, I'm sure most guests will disagree and this thing will somehow become the new Toy Story Midway Mania or Radiator Springs Racers of the Magic Kingdom.

So the rude track outside at night has lights under it? Why?

    I wondered about that too.

I think it may of been running in a maintenance mode, and the light could be for evacs too.

I'm pretty sure those lights will be off or dimmed in normal operating mode. They'll probably install a decorative lighting package that will illuminate the elements.

Another "first" video - this time of the dwarf AA's..

    *spoilers ahead*
The video preview shows a shot of the AA's so it could be a bit spoilerish if you don't want to view the video.

I was a little surprised at first but then I'm quite impressed. I'm sure it'll look great in person.

Holy crap. I honestly thought they were going with the static figure and minimal movement style. This is great!
