Full-time Character Performer Auditions for WDW (outside of Orlando)

    Hi everyone!

WDW has started its casting "tour" for the College Program and full-time performers!!! (Parade, face, and fur)

Alot of CPers have posted about their audtion experience but I am auditioning for the full-time postion not for the CP. I just wanted to know about anyone's experience who has audtion for FT positions. Most accepted CPs hear back within 2-4 weeks after their audition, how long did you wait? Did you feel like your posibilities of being notice were increased or decreased because it was combined with future CPs? How did you know if you were pulled for face? On what note did you're audition end?

I'll be auditioning soon in a VERY big city and know potential CPs flying in or driving 8+ hours just to audition. Luckily,I'm just a hop and a skip away but I expect there to be easily over 250 people. My nerves are starting to kick in! AAAH!

    Thanks everyone! And...
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AUDITIONING!!! BREAK A LEG!!

PrincessPaula: Have you found out anything from your audition in March? How far into the audition did you get?

I did not make it past the first round which was no big deal because they were looking for dancers and parade performers at mine (which I am not). But I have the audition I was looking to go to on May 8th! I also just sat in another look-a-like audition Thursday. Did you have any questions about the auditions? Thanks for asking by the way!

I've only been to one audition and I made it to fill out paperwork for the pool but not for extra pictures at the very end. Does it count against you if you go to more than 1 audition in 6 months? The paper slip they gave me at the audition says that if I haven't heard back within 6 months that I can audition again. It sucks not hearing back but I'm afraid to hurt my chances by going to another audition.

So sorry for the late response! I never knew you replied!! But, I know ton of people that go back a friend went twice in two weeks first time didn't make it for the first round and the second time was pulled for the fairest of them all... and I know for a fact she went to a few before that with in six months. I'm actually going to the look a like audition in WDW on Wednesday..Wo we'll see how that goes!
