    Welcome to Micechat!

Google has many lists about this. Allears.net is an excellent source, especially for menus.

"Best" can be according to theme (which is what many come to Walt Disney World for), food quality, value, views, etc.

There is best, and then there are favorites. The favorites don't necessarily have the best food. There's atmosphere. Price. Characters, and sometimes, just a wildly wonderful time.

Like Beaches and Cream has the "Kitchen Sink"

Don't ask for ketchup at Whispering Canyon.

Keep your elbows off the table at Prime Time 50's Cafe

Best fish and chips are served through a window at Epcot.

Party with Mickey at his backyard BBQ.

Personally, I am fond of the oatmeal. All of the Food Courts serve it, as well as the restaurants, and it is yummy.

Ohana, and California Grill are known for the view. Pricey, perhaps, but memorable for sure.

I hope to come home from my next vacation with pictures of some "Fine Dining" at Disney World, and I'm not just talking fancy and expensive. I'm talking enjoying food in the happy environment of Disney World. Tastes extra good when the tummy is rumbling. Not always the case with 180 day ADR's.

Ohh Boma is pretty good.. have to be an adventerous eater to like it though.. lots of stranger things on the menu but the service there is top notch. Usually can do walk ups for them as well.

I need to try Sci Fi.. Always wanted too but never gotten around to it. My wife has done it and said it was fun.

my ADR's coming up are sci fi, teppan edo, beaches and cream, and whispering canyon so I am pretty excited. might swap the canyon with california grill or ohana if an adr pops up at the last minute. would do a grand floridian restaurant but this is gonna be a MK park day so i dont really want to go anywhere fancy.

Re: What are the best restaurants in Walt Disney World

I love to schedule an ADR at one of the Grand Floridian Restaurants, when I know that I am going to be in the Magic Kingdom on a particular day. The Grand Floridian is just a monorail or boat ride away. Getting out of the Magic Kingdom for a while for a meal, allows me to return all refreshed and ready to attack the crowds again. I find that better than eating somewhere in the park.

My two favorites are at the Studios. They are the 50s Prime Time Cafe, and Sci-Fi Dine In. Both have fantastic atmosphere, are really fun to be at, and have alright food, but not spectacular.

AKL Flame Tree Barbecue - Can't beat this tray service. On a nice day, park yourself on the lake overlooking Everest.

Epcot Tangerine Café - This tray service dishes flavorful Moroccan food that'll keep you coming back again and again.

Epcot Chefs du France - A not-too-homogenized table-service restaurant with fantastic bread and reasonably-priced entrees. Even the kids love the Croque-monsieur and plate de fromages and an Orangina. Don't skip the dessert cart!

There are so many great places to eat in WDW and especially EPCOT that it's hard to pick a favorite.
One that I don't see mentioned often is Dining Japan in EPCOT. They have the best Tempura I've ever had and the experience itself is outstanding. Sit at a corner window have have incredible views of the Japanese garden and the lagoon.
