I'm going to be one of those who do (okay, I won't actually shed a tear, but I will be sad). Although I do like JIIWF, I like Hista much more. I love the music, I love the humor of Dr. Nigel Channing & I love the overlaying theme of the Imagination Institute. Now if they would update the movie, but keep the music & Inventor of the Year Award Show theme, I would be all for it.

Don't get me wrong Mike. HISTA is an amazing show in consideration of it's longevity. Even though I have seen it many times, I still enjoy it's wit and "in your face" thrills. Nevertheless, the attraction is old, it's audience dwendling, and people have been anxious for something new for some time.

What a novel idea you have with respect to remaking the film and incorporating the same type of a plot. The music itself is timeless. In my opinion, modern technology would shine it up like the novel gem it once was. Live action would set it apart from pure CG as well. Watch out It's Tough To Be A Bug and Mickey's PhilHarmagic.
