What you put on your WDW 6-disc set?

What if Disney produced a set for WDW similar to Disneyland's 50th six-disc compilation album? What tracks would you have on it? For starters, I think it would have to be larger than six discs... maybe twelve .

This isn't my complete list by far, only tracks I can think off the top of my head - and plus, I only started going WDW in 2001 so I don't know much of the old music, only the famous stuff like MSEP.

    Magic Kingdom
    Main Street Loop
    Frontierland Loop
    Tomorrowland Loop
    The Haunted Mansion
    The Hall of Presidents
Mickey's PhilharMagic (I would love this one)
    Main Street Electrical Parade
    SpectroMagic
Share A Dream Come True (only cos its the recent one, I don't particuarly like it)
    Pirates of the Caribbean
    Country Bears Jamboree
    Space Mountain
    Splash Mountain
    Wishes (of course!)
    Fantasy in the Sky

    Epcot
    Future World Loop (love it)
    Spaceship Earth
    Various incarnations of IllumiNations
    Horizons
Soarin' (another love, its currently my ringtone!)
    World Showcase Loops
I'm sure there is loads more!

    Disney-MGM Studios
    Hollywood Boulevard Loop
    MuppetVision 3D
    Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
    Fantasmic!
    Rock n Rollercoaster
    Star Tours
    Sorcery in the Sky
    The Great Movie Ride

    Disney's Animal Kingdom
Jammin' Jungle Parade (really good memories of this parade, and my time at the park in general)
    Anandapur/Serka Zong Loop
    Harambe Loop
    Festival of the Lion King
    Tarzan Rocks!

Anything in particular you would like?

I would make it all in MP3 and just cram every sound that WDW has ever recorded onto it.

I would want to have footage of every old attraction and show that has been removed along with current attractions and show. I would love it if it if the 6 disk where doulble sided that way more stuff could be added.

Many of the tracks you mentioned are already available on CD. Often the WDW loops feature tracks of of commercial CDs (check out www.disneymusicloops.com for more info). And much of the other audio and loops can be found online.

Only two things come to mind that I would put in a WDW CD set...

"If you had Wings" theme song, and "Now it's the time" from the COP show.

One song that I'd have to add is the Remember the Magic parade from WDW's 25th. COMPLETE with the Lion King section, which seems to be MIA on existing recordings.

I have to agree that it would need to be a LOT more than 6 disks. After all, it WOULD be covering 4 parks and possibly other parts of the resort. Both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom would need to be LARGE sets.

I have a 999 Disc set I'm working on, with about 1-2 Discs for each attraction, land, etc.

Much of what you guys are looking for is on the current two-disk set for Happiest Marketing Celebration on Earth.

(not If You Had Wings though ...not enough DAK stuff either, but well worth $24.99)

Re: What you put on your WDW 6-disc set?

I'm mainly thinking of things not already on any official WDW album.

I've always enjoyed the music from Ellen's Energy Adventure composed by Bruce Broughton. There's a sample of it on soundofmagic.com, and I heard John Mauceri conduct it at the Hollywood Bowl last July 4th, the only time it's ever been performed live. This one is a must for me.

And since Wonders of Life seems headed to Yesterland, I'll have to get some kind of audio from Cranium Command.

I always liked that quaint and simple narration in the beginning of Living with the Land.

The audio from the American Adventure would be very cool.

I'd like to hear the audio for Dinosaur, one of my favorite rides.

Finally, I'd like to hear the onboard Aerosmith audio for Rock N Roller Coaster. I realize that's probably not possible what w/ the expensive licensing price tags, and that I actually have the original full length versions of these songs on the regular CD's, but I prefer the coaster versions myself. Can you imagine hearing "Love in a(n Elevator) Roller Coaster" on a Disney CD? Decidedly UN Disney lyrics. But one can wish.

Thats a nice sample, and I guess we should be happy for it because I don't see Disney ever releasing that one.
