I couldn't have said it better. Toad was a classic ride only if you had some long-held fond memory of it (and I do), but really, does anyone even remember that its based on the Wind in the Willows? If you own the video, its only because you bought "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and Toad happens to be on it.

As much as I liked it for my own personal nostalgia, I have no problem with them replacing it with a Pooh ride. That's not to say that the Pooh ride that they built is perfect, but in theory I have no problem with replacing Toad with Pooh. It just makes more sense.

I was super excited for about 5 seconds until I remembered what day this is.

I always liked that ride. Even as an adult.

Winnie the pooh just feels wierd in Fantasyland. It still fits best in Disneyland's Critter Country. Too bad it's so far back in the park thought. Only the older crowds go back that far (for Splash). Kids don't know it's there, resulting in low attendance.

Hmm.. you did a better job than some others... dating the Press release as the day before rather than that morning was a nice touch...
